Tucked away inside the newly refurbished Clumber Park Hotel near Worksop, The Courtyard Restaurant is a plush retreat from city living. Popular with spa guests, socialistas and local business folk, the dining room is decorated in rich creams, toffees and browns and the light-filled conservatory - which looks out onto the courtyard - is an elegant venue for lunches and afternoon tea. The atmosphere here is super-relaxed and friendly, and The Courtyard's menu is focused on contemporary cuisine using locally sourced produce where possible. Signature dishes include the seared tuna with pak choi, noodles and roasted red peppers; the fresh gnocchi with wild mushrooms, spinach and truffle cream; and the delicious dark chocolate tart with baked Alaska ice cream.

the food was amazing, the only small complain was we were next to a very loud table so i wouldnt advice it for a very romantic meal.otherwise it was perfect. the service was excellent not intrusive.

Went on a friday lunchtime with work - definitely needed to have booked as it was very busy! Service was excellent - we were nearly 45 mins later than our original booking but I phoned ahead and they were happy to hold the table for us. The £12.50 2 course lunch is great value for money and there's a great variety to choose from - curries, noodles, meat and seafood. All in all a good place for a quick working lunch. The a la carte menu looked good as well - I may return to sample!

My clients and I had a lovely lunch at Patara on Maddox Street. I would deffinately recommend it to my collegues and most probably go back there soon!

Patara on Maddox Street was recommended by a friend who rated it as one of the best Thai restaurants. We have to agree. Starter of Fishcakes was very authentic(yes we have been to Thailand!) Steaed dumplings also very tasty but not stodgy. Scollops not usually out thing but these were very well flavoured. For main we ordered a chicken green curry. My only negative for this dish was the portion size. very little chicken. Def. recommend for food and service. cost a very reasonable £40 per head
