Excellent waitress. Cauliflower appetizer was tasty. Cottage pizza was very good but crust on veggie pizza was soggy. We'd like to return when it's warmer and sit in the patio area!

Stopped here for dinner before going to the theater. It’s a great place for casual dining. I had the shrimp basket and my aunt had the cottage pie. Both were great! We got our food in a very timely manner and everyone was very polite. I will be going back again, especially for the cottage pie!

Got the fish fry. Overcooked, old grease. Third straight bad fish fry over multiple months. Won’t get it again. I am a neighbor, so the cottage is our “go to” place on Friday nights.

Always great food and fun. Servers were a bit confused by who had our table so there was some wait time. Both were very friendly though. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been there many times for the fish fry on a Friday night this time it was so salty it was horrible.

We didn't stay. Although we have been regulars at The Cottage, we were dismayed to see that nobody had masks on, and they'd removed their partitions between tables. I'm tired of COVID precautions, but my response is to do whatever I can to bring the pandemic to an end, not to flout the CDC recommendations or the governor's mandates.

Went specifically for Saturday night oyster and prime rib special. My husband ordered South of the Border burger. It is supposed to come with guacamole but they brought 3 little slices of avocado instead. He asked for guacamole which took about 7 minutes to get. My oysters and prime rib came at the same time even though I specifically said I was having the oysters for an appetizer. At that point I asked to see the manager.The manager said that some people like to eat their oysters and prime rib together so I should have specified that I wanted to have them as as appetizer which I did. She said she would educate the server to always ask if somebody wanted their appetizer first. Her response was ludicrous. My oysters were overly mushy, not firm and plump. I ordered my prime rib medium rare but it came medium at best. My baked potato was barely warm. This was our 4th and last visit. We will not go back. The manager should have offered to compensate us for the inconvenience. Overall it was a terrible experience.
