    It is a risky affair to trg Indian ata a new place but Cottage Cheese is highly and above highly recommended. Actual Indina taste. Food portions and everything is just up to the mark, above expectations. The owner himself comes to your table and asks if everything is alright. Appetizers, main course and sweet dish each has its unique flavour taking you back to Indian flavours. 100 percent recommended and a must must try if you are in Downtown.

    We tried the Summerlicious menu. Quantity was a joke. Chicken appetizer was very dry. Butter chicken was okayish and overall the experience was very average.

    Overall nice and clean place, a bit on a higher side in terms of cost. Food is oily and fusion, I felt some of the dishes were not fresh but frozen, heated and then served.

    Food was treated like art. I really liked the creativity and experimentation that they did with their food. I had the Banaa Kofta and it was really delicious. Service was really good.

    This was my second time at the cottage cheese. The food never disappoints. Each dish is incredibly unique but rooted in traditional Indian flavours. We ordered the Chiwda Dahi Kabab for starters - Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside paired with a plum chutney. The flavours were so well balanced and complemented each other well. For mains we got Chicken Mango Moilee, Garlic Naan and Basil Petso Paneer Tikka. The star of the show was definitely the Paneer. It was delicious with a unique but familiar flavour. Couldn’t have enough!! We also got a lamb biryani (not pictured) which was really good but I had higher expectations - the lamb was not tender enough. I will say tho, the atmosphere kind of got ruined for me. I constantly had to swat away flies which was not a nice experience and infact, one fly landed in our mango lassi. Thankfully, they did not charge us for the drink and said they’re working on getting rid of these flies. I hope it’s a temporary problem cus I would love to come back!
