The Cotswold Guy, born out of bespoke private cheffing using the finest British ingredients, offers heart-warming hospitality and high-quality food and beverage produce across its farm shops, restaurant, café, online shop and catering & events service. Based across the length and breadth of the Cotswolds, we provide quality, locally-sourced ingredients and dishes, inspired by elevating the much-loved British Classics, to our ever-growing base of loyal and repeat clients.

The Cotswold Guy, Gagingwell (near Chipping Norton), is our latest opening, giving guests the opportunity to eat in or takeaway. We have all of the old TCG favourites, as well as some outstanding new additions!

Serving breakfast and lunch everyday, we are also pleased to offer Friday Pizza Day & Saturday Steak & Lobster Nights

                    Wonderful place to bring elderly parents for a delicious breakfast in a quiet relaxed atmosphere!! Delicious food! More than we could eat! Thoroughly enjoyed it!

                    Usually we can’t fault our visits but the last 2 times the food is great as ever but the service has been particularly lacking sadly. Confusion over olive order. None the first time and the second time they seemed to think we wanted them IN the drinks (beer & shandy!) Caesar salad with the chicken on the side, so it was half a chicken literally on a separate plate, unprepared. Just weird. Desserts and coffees didn’t arrive at all! Very sad it’s become like this as it was our favourite place.

                    A hidden gem tucked away in the countryside. We went on a Saturday evening and had the ribs. Incredible. Great place. We will be back.

                    excellent place for eating and to shop in their small, but perfect deli The food was excellent and the staff were charming and efficient without being intrusive They have various seating options and lovely outdoor covered area Highly recommended - although I don't want people to know about this place, I'm posting because I much rather want it to stay open...

                    A gorgeous farm shop and restaurant however, the waitress was very scatty and kept forgetting our water dog watter and got our coffee order wrong despite repeating back to us. We wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but then when the americano arrived it tasted like soapy dish water which was pretty disappointing. Fortunately, the english breakfast was very good and the bacon sandwich was nice but we recommend asking the customer if they would like their bacon crispy or not. Mine was not crispy and I wish I had specified that in hindsight. Would go back again but feels like there is some small tweaks to the service and the food that would make this place amazing.

                    The food was excellent when it finally arrived after nearly a 90 minute wait. We ordered a salad to have as a starter but everything came at once, sadly by that point it wasn’t worth saying anything. This is our third visit and the second time we have had over an hour wait. The staff seem very inexperienced and in need of direction. Unfortunately we won’t be back.
