We only ate here because of it's close proximity to Buell theatre for a show. Service was a bit slow, but food came out quickly. Everything tasted good. We were there on a Sunday, and I would have appreciated being able to order from a regular menu, rather than a set Brunch menu, which is not something I enjoy. There were a few limited options besides brunch fare, but not much, so be forewarned. Casual atmosphere.
Always a great experience at The Corner Office! A bite before the theatre. Chilled yakisoba with steak. Delicious! Steak perfectly prepared and the seasoning on the yakisoba was tasty!!! Always get the bottomless mimosa. What a treat!
The server was not attentive at all, it was very busy; yet didn't seem to care for my table.
The food is so much better - new chef? Really very good. My husband loved the corn beef hash. The only negative to this spot is the noise level. I know that is hard to fix but honestly it is deafening in there. The location is perfect for attending DPA Center.
Well, darn. I had hoped the remodel would have made this place better, but I can’t say I’ll be rebooking a pre-show dinner here anytime soon. The menu featured much of what it did before and is varied and tasty, but if you want to be able to converse with your party, this is not the place for that, unfortunately. The curved blue room with vertical wooden dowels also had my head spinning by the end of the meal. Post show drinks or takeout may be in my future, but no more dinner dates.
Great food, fun atmosphere, perfect for dinner before the theater. We ran into trouble with traffic and despite being late, the hostesses were very patient and accommodating to our group, then we had a great waiter. Very enjoyable evening and I highly recommend The Corner Office!
Good service, good food, and right across from DCPA.
It had been a while since I had dined at this restaurant, and I am very glad that I made a return visit. The food was very good, and the service was outstanding. As we were going to the theater, we had made a reservation . We were seated promptly, and our waiter came quickly to explain the menu, take our drimk orders, and to answer any questions. Both the Wagyu burger and the chicken Milanese were well prepared and delicious. The place appeared to be full - some seated diners and some people at standing bar tables. Even though it was very busy, we had great service. I will definitely return and would recommend the Corner Office.
They have changed the decor since last I was there. Now it feels more like a lunch spot and not a martini bar. Not every comfortable for dinner.
The Steak Oscar was amazing and the edamames with lemon sauce were great. The dark cherry apple dessert was a wonderful finish.
Fun and innovative menu, excellent atmosphere, and super convenient for a pre or post theater meal! Will definitely dine here again!
Great experience. Loved the casual vibe and the cocktails. Creative menu as well was delicious.
This restaurant is my go-to in downtown Denver. I've taken business meetings there, had happy hours with my friends, pre-theater dinners. It's a solid choice for a good meal, and the cocktails are handcrafted and delicious. The menu may seem small, but the choices are all amazing, and there is usually something for everyone.
Great waiter was very attentive
We were early for our reservation and got seated right away. I had indicated that this was for my mother's birthday but this seemed to have been ignored. I did feel the waiter wanted us out quickly for the real lunch rush. Still, food was delicious and service was prompt.
Excellent, interesting food and a truly great dirty martini! Don't miss the chocolate beignet!
Very convenient to the convention center. Nice people, good service, and good food with an interesting menu. I’ll definitely go back again.
Brunch before seeing a matinee of Hamilton. Our party of 4 were seated promptly at our reservation time. The hostesses were very nice in telling us their favorite savory or sweet dishes. The noise was a bit loud but we eventually got use to it. Our waitress was very patient and kind in answering our questions and even let us split two entrees. The crab Benedict was out of this world and I can’t wait to return to have it again.
This restaurant is right across the DCPA...convenient with good food and service!
Had a great Sunday brunch! Hadn’t been to Corner Office in a few years, but so glad we ventured back. Fantastic service, great food, and nice ambience. I plan to be back soon!
Seeing Alexander Hamilton at the Buel.
Great place to eat before going to the theater--great view of arriving theater goers, very nice service, good food. We ate from the appetizers/starters, had a glass of bubbly--great way to kick off a show!
Had an absolutely delicious meal before seeing Hamilton! Went back after the show for a drink. Great place!
eclectic menu, good service the crowd was certainly enjoying it self
Service depends on theatre traffic. Noisy when full. Large portions of decent food.
We used to love this place but everything about our meal was sub par this time...
We had lunch here before attending Hamilton at the DCPA. We asked for a quiet booth or table in our reservation, but we were given a table in the open seating area with windows. It was EXTREMELY noisy and very difficult to have a normal conversation. The food was bland - there was nothing special about it. Very disappointed and won't go there again.
We had a reservation before attending Hamilton. Due to bad weather and traffic coming from Ft. Collins, we were 40 minutes late. Even though the restaurant was very busy, they held a table for us. Service was outstanding, food and drinks are very good. Fun atmosphere, perfect before attending the theater!
Our waitress was awesome and the food was AMAZING. Definitely recommend the red velvet waffles and breakfast burrito. Felt fantastic to have such a nice birthday breakfast!! 10/10.
this place was great i love our waitress she was awesome i would totally go back!
Great location, across the street from the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and just two blocks from the 16th Street Mall. We take out-of-town visitors there, and it is always a great time!
We had a chicken dish… Not sure of the name, way too much Curry…Our other dish was veal... not good sat all...However our bottle of wine was great!
In my mind the food here has become much better. Great place for before the theater.
My group visited The Corner Office before attending a performance of Hamilton. What a great place to meet up, enjoy some wine and a light dinner, then stroll over to the Buell Theater. The location was excellent. Made for a relaxed evening and since we could use event parking at the Performing Art Complex, logistics were easy and affordable. The wine list was sufficient with reasonably priced options. The food was quite good and portions were generous. The service was very good, and the view out the big windows added free entertainment.
4 of us ordered 2 different entrees and 2 apps. Everything was far too salty.
We realy like this place, and frequent it often, especially on Theatre night.
Went for breakfast. Red velvet waffles were so yummy!
Service was poor, food wasn't great and value for the food was not good.
Little loud, but great food!
We went there before Hamilton at the Buell theater. We started with bloody Marie’s and then had the fried pickles. They came in spear shapes which was unfortunate, I was wanting the pickle chip types. I had the Brussels sprouts with honey and sea salt it was delicious!! I could have eaten them over and over. I also had the yakisoba noodles which were ok but it does have egg in it which they didn’t disclose since I’m trying to stay away from. The overall experience was positive and a great atmosphere, would recommend
Reservations easy to make for a before theater lunch; a bit noisy.
