We were seated in the main dining room and it was too noisy. I'd listed the occasion as "anniversary", it was our 50th, and it felt like we were eating in a cafeteria. We much prefer the quiet and comfort of their smaller dining room.
After we mentioned our disappointment with the noise level our server brought over champagne, said happy anniversary, trying to make up for our discomfort. Unfortunately we don't drink, as my husband is a recovering alcoholic, and she should have asked before bringing it to our table to avoid embarrassment.
She was so distressed that we agreed to her offer of complimentary coffee and dessert, although we don't normally order dessert.
Our past experiences here have been excellent. I guess this was just an off night for us.
Our meal was very tasty. Homemade tomato soup was unique, chopped salad was very good but it was enough for 4 people. The table we were seated at was near door and I suspect they would put 3 there for drinks. The table was way too small for even 2 people for having dinner - also very awkward to get your feet around the large table legs. On the other hand, the table surface was terrific. The only other thing to improve on would be dirty bathrooms. Unfortunately, someone should be assigned the task of wiping up counters as there was water everywhere as well as paper towels. My husband said it was same in men’s.
The new menu items are fantastic. Carla, our Server was very good, friendly and top notch.
One of our favorite downtown restaurants! Perfect location when going to a show at the Denver Performing Arts Center. The food is sooo delicious every time we go. Do yourself a favor and order the Croque Madam! Delicious
Very beautiful and elegant place to have brunch. For 15 dollars you get the best bottomless mimosas. Me and my wife will be back again for their brunch.
Food was excellent, service was slow, and the noise level was almost un-bearable
A convenient and reasonable venue for theater-goers, but its way too loud and close for my taste. No sense of privacy to be had!
We enjoyed our evening for sure. The environment was a little loud and our table was small enough that it was difficult to have everything on the table (and we didn't order a lot :) ) Our waiter was very friendly and helpful, but maybe a little overwhelmed as we had to get his attention when we needed things (wine came about half way through our meal, grabbed him for check when went to restroom). It was busy and he was hustling and we had plenty of time so not too significant, just feedback. We will eat there again
You might call the noise level energetic. I would call it noisy! Not so noisy that we couldn't carry on a conversation, but noisy. However, the food was very good, the service was excellent, and it was a good choice for dinner before attending a show! We will return.
Outstanding service and delicious food...many thanks!
The waitress, Sarah, was very attentive and checked on me often. The French dip sandwich was delicious, and I was pleased to be able to order soup as a side dish instead of fries.
Great restaurant for just walking across the street from DCPA before your show.
Food was great, service was very good.....but we walked in to a bunch of guys at the bar loudly watching sports on TV. We were seated at a table in the very back, and it was very noisy making conversation difficult. Just not for us. But very convenient to the DCPA.
I took my daughter here before a show. It was a really fun experience that we both enjoyed. Our server took a long time to get to us initially, but he apologized and things were lightening fast after that. The food was delicious and not terribly expensive. My two nitpicky comments are 1. no ice in the water. It was 90 degrees outside and our water was room temperature. I really would have liked some ice water, and 2. the table we sat at in the window area up front was too small. I felt like a TV tray would have worked better. Would I come back? Heck yeah. Those are small complaints meant only to help improve the a great experience.
We recently had lunch/brunch at the Corner Office before attending a show at the DCPA. We have done this before. We were glad we had reservations because the place was packed. Unfortunately it wasn't a very relaxing brunch because the crowd noise was pretty overpowering and it was tough to talk with each other. Otherwise, the food and service were very good.
Took my daughter before seeing a show at the DCPA. Pretty loud and busy. I ordered a salad that was just mediocre. My daughter ordered the french dip sandwich and she loved it. Fun place to have drinks, but I don't think I'd have dinner there again.
Great place pre-theatre. Good food and lively atmosphere. The salmon was fabulous! We will come back.
Our server Charlotte is amazing! And the friend I was with said the cheese cake she has was worth traveling for. It’s always so good and fast and a lot of options! Nice that’s it’s so close to the DCPA too!
We love The Corner Office for our pre-DCPA dining. The food is really good and the service is always excellent. But the noise levels are getting to the point that we may have to change restaurants. Recently there were 3 generations of us and even the teens couldn’t hear cross table conversations. We had to lean into whoever was seated next to us to converse — ridiculous! We have been dining at The Corner Office for several years. We have been seated in various locations throughout the restaurant and the noise levels are noxious throughout. I’m sure this establishment could afford some dampening/noise mitigation—I’m disappointed it hasn’t yet been addressed.
Love the bottomless mimosas!
Great craft cocktails. Yes, Martini Bars are still a thing, despite what you might hear elsewhere. The Corner Restaurant & Martini Bar is absolutely worth a try. They bill their fare as modern comfort food and it absolutely is. Service was attentive. Cocktails were awesome. Food was excellent.
The menu was limited but the food was brought to the table quickly so that that worked our since we were going to a theater. The food was tasty and waiter was good.
It was very good and fun as always. It was just loud
Service + food + drinks all excellent. The roast beef sandwich dip was exceptional. The servers were very gracious. We will definitely return.
The reservation system is very good, you would want to use it if you are attending events at the theaters across the street.
Menu has a good amount of options. Service and drinks were amazing, the food was good. Great spot to grab drinks and appetizers.
Fun spot before going to the theater. Food was really good. Messed up timing with our appetizers but great service recovery.
U ique brunch. Crab benidictvwas great.
The food is always good, as well as the service. However, the restaurant is much too noisy and it’s difficukt to have a conversation.
Amazing place to go before a show at Denver Center for the Performing Arts
We were seated with no waiting. Service was excellent and the food was delicious.
A bit noisy in th back room but the food is great.
Great go-to option for dinner before a show at DCPA.
Congrats, the dining room is finally being managed effectively.
Waiter was fabulous and manager and bartender extremely friendly!!!
Very much appreciated great service and yummy food!
The staff was amazing, especially with my 4 year old son. Food was great. We'll definitely be back.
We chose The corner for the bottomless Mimosa deal. They pour big glasses so we only made it through 3, and you choose which juice you want to add to it (pineapple for me, guava I think for my friend). The food was great! We sat outside and enjoyed the weather although the inside atmosphere was really cool too.
I've been here several times and the staff is always attentive and friendly. I will continue to dine here!
Our server was great! Explained the menu, gave honest recommendations, was awesome about splitting the check. The food was great and the drinks delicious! Will definitely be back.
There were 4 of us for a 12:30 Sunday Brunch. Our dining area beyond the bar was very loud. We had to ask for our drink orders twice and the food took a good 15-20 minutes longer to arrive than is normal. The drinks and food were tasty. It felt like they were completely full and didn't have the ability to handle such a large crowd.
