Our reservation was at 7. We ordered appetizers and our meals at the same time telling our server that we had a concert to attend at 9. It took over an hour to get our food. The appetizers were just ok. The French fries were excellent, the Brussels sprouts were mushy and over-cooked, the goat cheese was just ok. Our main course finally came at 8:30. One of my friends and I both ordered the crispy salmon. Mine was over cooked and had no flavor and my friend’s was raw with barely a sear on it. Her fish was cold to the touch. I gave her half of mine so she would have something to eat. Our server never came back to check on us until 8:50. We told her how dissatisfied we were with the meal and that we needed our checks ASAP in order to make the concert. She brought us our checks but we were surprised that she hadn’t comped my friends raw salmon or mine. We sent her back with the checks to correct them, and she brought them back with my friends meal removed but not mine. We paid and got up to leave very disappointed with the service and with the fact that not one person had apologized or made any attempt to rectify the situation. As we were walking out the door a man approached us... manager? Owner? Who knows. He mumbled something to us about the checks. I told him we had already paid and we were done and ready to leave. He walked away without another word. It was weird.
The Corner Wine Bar used to be one of my very favorite restaurants. But The Corner is a disaster. The interior design is ugly and cold, the service was sub par, and the food was bad. We won’t be returning.
My favorite restaurant in Indy!! Great service, accommodating to menu requests, food delicious!! Been here twice and both were fantastic.
My husband and I had our first date here 27 years ago. We had not been here for a few years and decided to go for my husbands 60th birthday. New management. Everything was fabulous. Definitely going back more often.
Overall it was excellent. Where our server was lacking, the owner picked up.
We had amazing food including the hummus appetizer, blackened fish tacos, ravioli, cookie and blush cakes for dessert. Everything was delicious and the appropriate temperature. Drinks came out timely and were replenished often!
We were greeted at the door with a very warm welcome. We sat at a cozy table for two at the bar. Food was amazing, service was perfect. Very friendly staff!
First visit over Devour Indy. The ambiance is of a small neighborhood restaurant. The service was good but we waiting a bit for our food, which was very good! Fun drinks and huge wine selection.
We had an issue with the dessert and they switched it out no questions asked, the second dessert was delicious. Food and service was excellent.
New waiter and he had no idea what he was doing. It was like he was afraid to come see us. Very inattentive. We sat down, waited maybe 15 min to order our wine, then waited 20 min for it to be brought out by the Host and we didn’t have wine glasses on the table, so waited another 5 min for those. It just continued, slow service and one entree came out late and it was cold...food was fine, but due to service wont be back.
Visiting and had lunch here on a whim with my Children. The hands on owner was extremely kind to them. Solid spot.
Quaint with excellent food and good service!
Sun brunch was very good and service also. Love the location, will definitely go back for dinner.
I was disappointed with this restaurant. I expected to find an updated ambience from the former Corner Wine Bar which formerly occupied this space. There wasn't much updating. The menu was limited. Should work on environment and food offerings to bring this restaurant up to par for a Broad Ripple establishment.
When we walked in at 6:00 on Veteran's Day, the owner, Nick Molloney, told us he sent his kitchen staff home. After a successful brunch, no one had been in for 3 hours. He volunteered to cook for us. We had shrimp cocktail, meatballs with baguette, and individual flatbreads. The food was delicious and our conversation with him delightful. I would highly recommend The Corner and look forward to going back with friends.
Butler family weekend brunch. Food was fine just server was a bit overwhelmed. We had reservations for 12 but had a lot of walk up business. Took over an hour to get food. Food was good with a few fixable errors but some in our party were a bit miffed by service delay. Servers were very nice just needed more help. Will have to try again.
I chose the restaurant because it was convenient to meet a friend but ended up having the most delicious meal. Best fish tacos ever and the chocolate cake for dessert was divine.
Great meal with great drinks and service!
The food was excellent but the menu was quite limited.
The server was very attentive. The food Was just not good at all.
Excellent service, great menu selections and very flavorable...
CK and Tammy were great! Broad Ripple is lucky to have The Corner as a neighbor! A must try!
Pretty good drinks and food. Didn't know this place was there until I looked it up on open table. Not the college crowd Brother's has.
Came in out of the rain and no host stand apparent. Staff passed by for more than five minutes before we just moved to the empty bar. But good choice. Because the bar staff was very good. And the food was okay, nice. Saving grace for a poorly staffed restaurant.
The Lox Toast was heavenly, along with a Hibiscus mimosa.
The Corner is a refreshed and updated Corner Wine Bar under new management. The menu offered a small, but nice variety of options. I had the grilled fish tacos which were done to perfection: the fish was moist with the right amount of spice and the slaw and toppings were freshly made with interesting flavor combinations. My friend ordered the beet salad which was equally well prepared. We sat outside on a mild early summer day which was perfect for people watching and simply relaxing. Great place for lunch,
food was good but not wonderful. I asked our waitress about two different dishes and she did not know anything about either one. Menu is not large but has diverse items.
Great restaurant! Love the outside seating and live music!
Love this upgrade on previous Corner Wine Bar. Menu is creatively delicious and service is fantastic. Patio venue allows patrons to watch all of Broadripple wall by.
Our server was completely overextended. I could tell he knew what he was doing, but he had way to many tables!!
Brunch was beyond amazing. Had the everyone knows your name and genuinely cares feel. The patio is great for people watching or bringing your pups. I think Broad Ripple has a new number one spot. Hint: Get the biscuits and gravy (from a fat guy that loves biscuits and gravy)
My friends and I sat at the bar this evening. Both the dining room and the patio were full. The bar top was full, but it wasn’t loud. It was easy to maintain normal level conversation with my 2 friends.
The baked goat cheese small plate was delicious. Sometimes something as simple as the marinara can ruin an otherwise fantastic dish and their marinara was on point. I got the BBQ Meatloaf Patty Melt on Texas Toast. A. Who doesn’t love Texas toast?! and B) I’m not typically a fan of meatloaf. In fact, I haven’t eaten meatloaf in probably 20 years, but I gave this one a shot and was not disappointed. I would definitely recommend The Corner for an evening out with friends. I can’t wait to return!
We had dinner at the bar top & everything was excellent. To start with we shared the Chicken Empanadas (delicious) and Baked Goat Cheese. I swear, I almost ordered another baked goat cheese as my entree it was that good! For dinner I went with the Fish Tacos (great flavors) and my date has the Corner Burger (yummm). You can’t go wrong with the food here. Drinks are poured proper (strong) and the staff is on point as well.
