Continental cuisine (with a little love for Latin) has come to College Plaza, Randolph. The Vargas family (brothers Harold and Oscar and cousin Willy) combine decades of restaurant expertise to present the freshest, healthiest, highest quality selections available. Fine diners in Randolph and beyond appreciate the Vargas family'sfocus on the food. Warm woods, intimate booths and interesting decor create a welcoming, serene ambiance. A ceramic-tiled waterfall adds soothing sounds and an outdoor patio offers an alternative atmosphere for guests. Diners are welcome to bring their own wine; kept chilled by the table or for reds, within reach of the wait staff. The menu includes an array of perfectly grilled steaks, fresh seafood, Italian-inspired pastas, interesting appetizers, soups, salads and warm homemade bread. We’ve been fans of CB for a while so that’s why we chose it for our Mother’s Day meal, party of 9. I made the rez on Open Table and requested the main dining room. I even called the day of as a reminder that we didn’t want to be in the banquet room that’s off to the side. When we arrived, they couldn’t find our rez and we ended up in the banquet room despite there appearing to be tables available in the main dining room. The room was not fully set up with folding tables leaning up against the wall and a portable speaker in the corner. Previous reviews of the new management said everything was as good as it was before the restaurant changed hands. My crabcakes were delicious, however other dishes were not as good or even accurately described on the menu. The octopus was suspect, the rib eye was actually prime rib and the pasta primavera had no veggies besides artichokes and sundried tomatoes. Everything tasted good but not great as expected based on plenty of other dining experiences there. Our main water was friendly but the servers seemed to not know what was going on. One brought food to our table that was not ours, placed it in front of us and then took it away and gave it to another table. Anything we asked them for, they smiled and got the main waiter leaving us to assume they didn’t understand what we were saying. We dine out frequently and really liked Corner Bistro in the past. I recognize that holidays are tough on restaurants and that the change of hands may come with some blips in service. I’ll go back and give it one more shot but if CB doesn’t step it up they may loose some of their regular patrons who expect good food, good service and a cozy atmosphere.

Mother's Day brunch was excellent. The food was delicious, there was an excellent variety of food, and incredible variety of desserts, and it wasn't too noisy. It was a wonderful atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing visit. We will be back, for sure!

My husband and I chose to eat at Corner Bistro with my step-daughter and her husband. We each had an entree and shared two appetizers. I chose a special of the day--coconut crusted salmon with scalloped potatoes and mixed vegetables. Excellent flavor and presentation. My son-in-law had the surf & turf. He said that it was also very good. The calamari and mussels appetizers were also very good My husband has another special item--the hanger steak which he thoroughly enjoyed. My step-daughter chose the crab cake entree. Two large crab cakes! One actually was taken home for another meal. Highly recommend this venue. We will return.

This is becoming one of our go to gems for quick, quiet, date nights. Food and service are both excellent as well as the value. A great local BYOB.

We were a party of four and had never been to Corner Bistro. We dine out often and this is definitely a hidden gem. Beautiful ambience, great service and the food is delicious and the portions are sized just right. Highly recommend.

What a great experience we had here today!! Staff, and the service was excellent along with the food. This place is one of those places where you can go and bring your own and still enjoy the ambience and quality of the food and service as if you were spending $1000 in New York City. Kuddos & accolades! 💕
