Have to give this group all the praise for their service today. They were willing to open the patio for us to accommodate our needs despite not having the staff to cover the space. Everyone was wonderful and so sweet and the food was delicious. 10/10 would brunch again!

We were greeted promptly from our waiter and reserved exceptional service throughout our dining. We thoroughly enjoyed the pan seared tuna and shrimp pasta dinners. Well worth it! We felt well taken care of and extra special while celebrating our anniversary.

so - love the bar (coupe glass instead of martini glass excepted) and most of our visits have been great. service, again, was attentive and excellent. i had a special that was $72 - more than the ribeye. i forgot to ask. i was shocked. the meal itself was okay but mashed were not hot. we had to send back the hanger steak for a brief refire - turned out okay. initial scuffle with the hostess about a 2 top being too small - we got the four top without a big tussle but it was weird something two feet away on a slow night was an issue. Another issue was speed. i’ve taken to ordering courses one by one and slowly because restaurants start slamming out plates long before we’re ready. this nearly happened tonight. if i hadn’t slowed the roll we would have had everything within seconds of each other. no time to enjoy - and we would have been on a two top!!! nightmare. our server said he would wait after soup but before i took my last spoonful the entrees were in front of me. take breath!!! 90 minute standard bedeviled. takeaway cheesecake was a small slice with 2 teaspoons of carmel sauce in a small cup-i guess we were taking it away but it was very underwhelming. server did say it wasn’t house made and couldn’t confirm curtze. sure seems like curtze the meal was okay excepting the above. this experience, however, set me back enough to question a next visit instead heading to Bay House or Calaos or Peppinos for fine dining. when i spend nearly $300 for two for dinner i get picky.

The food, drinks, restaurant, and service is outstanding. The price for the food is a little expensive so you might want to go only on special occasions unless you have the money.

We come to Erie in the summer to spend on our boat, and we chose The Cork as our first outing of the summer. Disappointing. Service was slow. Our waiter had more tables than he could keep up with. Food was late and cold. Asparagus was ice cold, like it came out of a refrigerator cold. Kitchen was backed way up. From our table we could see food sitting out for lengthy periods. Food quality was good, so it must have been a staffing\management issue that night.

Their prices keep going up and the portion size keeps getting smaller. It’s a nice place. The food is good, but it’s just getting too expensive to go there for what you get.

We’ve dined here many times and have always enjoyed the experience, but unfortunately, tonight was quite disappointing. There was no mention on OpenTable that dinner would be a buffet. Our reservation was at 7:00 PM, but by the time we arrived, most of the food had been picked over, and the buffet was clearly winding down as the restaurant closed at 8:00 PM. This was meant to be a special evening celebrating my son’s graduation, but the service and dining experience fell well short of expectations.
