The Corey Creek Inn
Kevin and Gina are excited to bring an elevated fine dining experience to the area.
I cannot give a review because when I arrived at the restaurant 10mins prior to my reservation, I discovered a hand-written note taped to the front door: “ CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE”. While I understand that issues arise and restaurants may have to close for emergencies, I find it unconscionable that with today’s technology, a reservation for a very important event in someone’s life (my wife’s birthday) cannot be flagged in some way and the reservation either not be allowed to be made or at least reach out to the individual that made the reservation and let them know his plans for the evening have changed. It was a surprise birthday dinner that was ruined as a result. Now I have to deal with Living Social who gladly took my money for a dinner that never happened.
Me not being happy is an understatement.
Every time I've eaten at Corey Creek Inn, I've been happy with all the food. The decor is warm and comfortable, the food is great, and on this visit the live music from Visco and McNeil was excellent. Although there was a problem in the kitchen and the chef wasn't there, the hostess welcomed us to stay and sip some wine and eat some light bar fare. We were very happy to have spent our Friday evening at Corey Creek Inn.
Food was great. Prices are great.
First time here it was very good get the oysters rockerfeller yum
service was great
First time there. Welcomed by the bartender when we entered, nice. Patrons were dressed nice, casual maybe 1 notch above just casual. I wore jeans, would have felt better had I wore Dockers. Half dozen people at the bar watching the Derby, all very friendly. Quant place, quiet enough to enjoy a conversation with your dining companions. The Chef came to our table during our meal to make sure all was well as did the owner. The food was tasteful and prepared flawlessly. The waitress pleasant and helpful although when it was time to leave she did make us hang on the check for a while. I look forward going there again.
Every time we've gone to Corey Creek we've been happy with the experience. This time we were pleasantly surprised by the Pasta Night special. The food was excellent, service was great and we love the cozy ambience of the dining room. We will be back.
hidden gem!....upscale food, reasonable pricing, intimate, CLEAN, ample parking
Went to dinner with my mom for a fun girls night out. The food was excellent, cocktails amazing and they had a live singer in the bar area. After dinner we moved to the bar for another couple drinks and made friends with the employees and other bar patrons.
Our friends had been here before & recommended it for dinner over the weekend. I’d say it’s OK, but they’re clearly not a healthy option. Between us all, our entrees were the salmon, scallops, chicken carbonara and the Jambalaya. Everything was heavy with in our opinions too much butter, cheese, or cream. If you chose not to go with that type of dish, sugar or excessive simple carbs was the next issue. I don’t recall everyone else’s appetizers but I had the sesame seared tuna, which was very good. Ambiance is old school but pleasant. Owners are there (chef & wife). Very attentive. Server was professional & good. They have a bar and a piano player, which was even better after the table of 6 close to us left! Parking is ample.
Very disappointed needs updating and better layout.
My husband and I went for a date night on Valentine's Day. It took 15 minutes for a server to come take our drink order because evidently there was a difference of opinion on who our server was! In fact, a table that was seated five minutes after us were served first. Everything on the menu sounded wonderful. We started with the Brie En Croute and the grilled oysters. The Brie was cold and the grill oysters came minus the charred bread that was advertised on the menu. My husband ordered the meatloaf Wellington which he said was good but lukewarm and I ordered the pistachio crusted lamb chops which were not cooked to my medium order specifications and we're also cold. We will not be back!
Great food, nice cozy atmosphere, and excellent service. Something for all tastes. Not inexpensive, but well worth it. The live music also adds to the fun and unique flavor of the restaurant.
Corey Creek is quickly becoming of of our favorite places for a great dining experience. The service is great and attentive. The food is outstanding. Even little things like the music is tasteful and doesn't drowned out the conversations. We will continue to return to Corey Creek again and again.
We came for a nice New Years Eve dinner and they let us order off the menu. We weren’t up for the price fixed menu, just wanted a quiet dinner. The owners are friendly and the food was outstanding. Nice way to end the year. We had the seafood Fra Diavolo and the osso bucco. Very nice. We look forward to coming back!
Good food but not good enough for the price. I had a great waitress though
