Our server made the experience so relaxing and fun
Customer service was lacking. We had a 5:30 reservation at which we showed up at 5:15 and were rudely told to leave and come back exactly at 5:30. Once we came back, we were seated and proceeded to wait 15 minutes before being able to order our drinks. Food was ok, just maybe brush up on customer service skills for the staff.
food was good but very pricy. he had gnats flying around our food We did let the waitress know and she was very apologetic
Very wonderful food and atmosphere although we would have enjoyed if you had a bar to sit at. We like sitting at bars in restaurants and able to view a TV as well.
The stuffed mushrooms and lobster ravioli was absolutely delicious!
We were very disappointed with the Copper Mug , the baked potato was semi cold and not good, my soup was lukewarm and we sent it back, the $30 steak was mostly fatty and not very good ! When we arrived out table was wobbly and it took several tries to make so we could just use that table ! Our server was sweet and attentive! We will not be returning anytime in the near future, we drive over an HR on New Years Eve !
What a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner! The food and service were top notch! It might be a little pricey but worth it!!!
We had dinner in the restaurant and breakfast to go. Dinner was delicious but pricey at $103 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast was beyond over priced for the 4 of us it was over $52. But with nothing else around they can charge whatever they want.
The short rib dinner was very good. I thought that they did a good job of handling social distancing with COVID.
Had a very nice dinner at The Copper Mug Bar & Grille! Learned about the Landoll's Mohican Castle from Ghost Hunters and then later learned the restaurant menu was all a Gordan Ramsey menu, so was a must stop! Next visit to the area will include a stay in the castle hotel. Very delicious food and property :-)
Food was great, service was only ok, they’re using the event center instead of the restaurant so the ambiance was mediocre. We would definitely go again and hopefully get to dine in the restaurant.
Tabitha (server) was phenomenal
Food was terrible over all
Rolls and jam was great (we purchased a jar of jam to go)
Stuffed mushrooms & spring rolls were not good
Kids Mac & cheese was like soup (2 of my children refused to eat it)
Kids chicken tenders were good
Short ribs were very over cooked
Adult beverage was good
Great food, excellent server, and comfortable atmosphere.
Great staff and wonderful service. Portions were plentiful and delicious.
This was our first visit and upon arrival we were surprised that the “restaurant” was actually in a reception hall. It would be very pretty for a reception but it’s not an intimate space for a nice dinner. Our server was very friendly and the food was good but not anything extraordinary. We drove over an hour in a half for a birthday dinner in a big hall that gets louder as the crowd grows. We’d go again but with a group, not as a date or special occasion.
Excellent service and delicious food. We absolutely loved our dining experience and highly recommend it to others. We will be returning!
The food was not what I expected. “Appetizer was not as described”. Entree was good though the side was
wrong and had to be sent back. Dessert tasted like prepackaged from
a grocery store
Good food at an elevated price. Service is outstanding with Anthony as the GM greeting "friends" at the door and checking on them throughout their visit. We'll be back.
Our anticipation was the ambiance was going to be a whole lot different than what we walked into. It was a glorified hall decorated. We felt like we were at somebody's wedding that we didn't know anybody. The food was lukewarm at best and the service was okay. The Christmas lights were definitely not worth driving 3 hours round trip to see. Overall, total experience was a left down.
We were there for Sunday Brunch with Santa. Everything was very nice, and we enjoyed the young children there to see Santa. We were slightly disappointed that the menu was so small and only breakfast. With that said, we all were very happy with what we ordered and service was great! We'll be back to try the regular menu!
We went for the Brunch with Santa with a set menu. I had the Hash ordered with eggs over medium; received with scramble and the short rib was dry. Actually surprised the meal was only hash and coffee... not much of a brunch: toast or a short stack?
We visited for brunch with Santa, Food was excellent, but limited to menu options for the event (not an issue) knew this going into it! Fun family event, Santa read "T'was the night before Christmas" while we eat. Santa even practiced social distancing while visiting each table and wore his mask...
We drove from MI to look at the lights. I had the chicken, it was ok but slighty dry, the green beans agsin they were ok but slightly over cooked. The baked potato was a standard baked potato. The butternut squash should have been pureed more. My daughter's short ribs and mashed potatos were really good.

What a great experience to enjoy our Christmas holiday!
Food was over priced and did not have most of items that were on the menu.
We both had the Braised Short ribs and was great.
Service from Tabby was excellent. The drinks were good but the food was just OK. Not what we expected for the price. Also they were out of the filet and lobster and we went on a Tuesday Night. If it wasn’t for the great service from Tabby, we would have been extremely disappointed.
We came for an adult dinner date. The restaurant was quiet but dated. The drinks were terrible!! They were overpriced and just didn’t taste right. It was like they were made with bottom of the barrel well liquor. The food was ok at best and for the $300 we paid for the 6 people, it just wasn’t a good experience. It was not what we expected at all. We will not be going back.
We had a 7:30 pm reservation and the food was not hot. My salmon was dry. It was a limited menu for the Christmas lights event, so I'm assuming the food was premade and in warmers rather than made to order. Being a later reservation, it probably sat longer. There were some things that were good, like the roasted chicken and sweet potato. The staff was very enjoyable. Overall, the food was just OK. Not worth the price for a special event. I would like to try it again when the full menu is available. I've heard good reviews from friends.
Terrible Food and atmosphere, definitely not worth the money and time. And most definitely not what they portray on the website.
Great food! Friendly staff! Family friendly! Great for all ages!
We had a great time at the Castle for Christmas!
Good, food was not as good as I thought it would be for the price. But overall the restaurant was good.
The food is absolutely delicious. We were all surprisingly filled. Kind of pricy for the area and not having a full menu to choose from though.
Kings Feast
Service lacked, music kept stopping, morning breakfast had music thumping in the background in addition to the Christmas music that kept stopping as previously mentioned. Atmosphere is not warm and cozy, more like dining in a dimly lit cafeteria-too open. Prefer the other restaurant which is not being used.
Lovely atmosphere. Service was poor - ate there twice and it took over 15 minutes each time for a server to come to our table. Food was good.
Mediocre food, poor service and average ambiance. Surprised to be charged $8 to park. The drive to the property was poorly marked and very dark. The “light display” was limited to the buildings and trees and while nice it was not more than you can see in most neighborhoods. I had Much higher expectations than the actual experience.
Food was good, Drinks were very expensive, Beautiful Christmas experience for the family
