   Amazing as always,this was our first time sitting outside,even though it was a bit chilly we were accommodated really well with patio heating and blankets if needed .Would highly recommend the copper cam as food is always excellent

   We booked for an early evening dinner before a concert at the Brighton Centre. Rather than go for main meals we chose small plates to share. The food was amazing, so flavoursome and beautifully presented. On top of this, the service was fabulous, such friendly and welcoming staff. Sadly it wasn't quite warm enough to sit outside but we had a table with a sea view as requested. Thoroughly recommended and can't wait to return.

   It certainly helped that the weather was amazing when we had lunch outside but the food was excellent and the service outstanding. A wonderful lunch in a wonderful location.

   We went for lunch on bank holiday weekend. It was empty when we got there. We ordered the aubergine hummus. It is not hummus. It was terrible. Wasn't served with pita it was the size of a small avocado. Terrible and tasteless. We also ordered the cevice and it was not cevice. It was just tiny pieces of thinly sliced fish - no lemon or lime flavor and seemed completely raw. Again terrible and tasteless. Finally, we ordered the lamb chops and those were proper and delicious. They were served on a delicious mint sauce. Loved them. Overall, unsure about the whole menu.

   We found the food this time very disappointing and certainly not worth the £100 for a sharing fish platter for 2 we have eaten at the copper clam many time and have been more than happy not this time there was a mixture of hot and cold why, we normally have a cold sharing platter with prawns in their shells lobster crab clams chopped whelks fresh muscles, the original platter was much much better it’s always been cold the muscles were dried and had a strange taste the crab was virtually empty and brown in colour not the brown and white meat you would expect the squid was very rubbery very disappointing not sure if they’ve changed chefs not sure if I would eat there again they should go back to the original platter

   Most of the menu was no longer available even at only 6pm?! Don’t waste your time with this amateur restaurant. And if you dare sit outside for food you will inhale cigarette smoke the whole time. When will restaurants learn that smokers are the MINORITY.
