I have dined here three or four times before. While it looks the same, with great service and generous well priced cocktails, the kitchen is not turning out the same high quality food. One of the appetizers (falafel balls) was simply inedible. The other dishes were pedestrian, by which I mean merely pleasant but without character or distinction. I will give it a few months and try again, hoping for a return to its more excellent prior efforts.
The Cooper was just OK. The food was good. Our waitress had a bit of a negative attitude. Our friends ordered Cranberry Juice and club soda. The first one was fine. The second had alcohol. Both of them do not drink. When they told the waitress she challenged them by smelling the drink. and said there was no alcohol. They both could taste it and felt the effects. She should have just given them new drinks. Overall not a good experience.
Planned a dinner after a business meeting. Outside bar is a great place to meet for a drink, then enjoy a great meal. Bar tends to get busy so you will need some patience before you enjoy a specially crafted cocktail or local brew. Sam, out server, was efficient, pleasant and offered great suggestions. Big salads, great specials, including double lamb chop. The combination of a great server like Sam and great food made our evening more special.
We had reservations and arrived early. Sat at the outside bar and Nick our bartender along with Tony were so hospitable that we decided to dine at the bar. Plenty of room on the bar top. Knowledgable staff, great food and wine. The Mediterranean plate was a nice mix of apps for picking.
Our server was knowledgeable and polite. Very professional staff and bartenders. The fall menu was new and the duck breast was perfectly cooked. My clients are high end diners and were happy with their meals as well. Highly recommend this restaurant for an upscale casual dining experience with farm to table ingredients . The Steaks from Colorado were top notch.
My daughter was in town from NY visiting and it’s one of her favorite places !! My husband was disappointed that the Halibut special has run out after we placed our order we had then been informed of that and if the waitress had tended to our table sooner maybe the order would’ve gotten in . Our waitress was very nice but clearly overwhelmed by her big tables and left us waiting a lot for drink order, dinner order etc.That is his favorite fish so what he ordered in its place was just okay . We will go back as typically our service is much better !
