Contemporary American
June 2019 marks their five year anniversary. Recipients of consecutive Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence since opening. A DiRona Fine Dining Award recipient since 2016. The menu is based on simple comfort food with global influences. Many different cooking techniques are incorporated in the daily preparation of the menu items. Everything served is prepared from scratch, in house…From pastas, breads & gelato to cured and smoked meats.
The menu changes slightly with every season, and the wine, sake, and beer list is always evolving and growing.
The Cook and The Cork does not want to be considered fine-dining, but they take food and drink seriously. Their goal is to have all their guests be a part of the fun, and to share the love they have for the restaurant, food, and staff.
Private and large parties accommodated, please contact directly: res@thecookandcork.com or call.

Had small plates only & bottle of wine
Nice wine selection
Spare ribs, shrimp & octopus dishes were excellent
Waiter quite talkative but very nice
Tables kinda small & a bit too close to your neighbors for private conversation
All in all a local winner
Will definitely return

Perfect date night with friends ... high-end wine selection, outstanding service (a shout-out to our server, Arthur) and food that was delectable. We did a variety of appetizers and small bites and then shared two entrees - we enjoyed ability to try a variety of different flavors and selections. Overall, a great meal and evening out.

First time visitor even though I live in the area. Lovely restaurant—our waiter was incredibly kind and made great recommendations about the food and wine list. The food was exceptional, and the ambiance really made the entire experience special.

This was the first time I ate here and it was delicious. Jim was our waiter and he gave us superb service. The chefs should be also commended on their creativity on so many menu items.

This is a treasure for food and wine lovers. With repeated WS excellence awards and a menu consisting of favorites plus new dishes, it’s an adventure in taste. Chef Keith Blauschild draws from many nationalities and techniques in presenting his menu. We love sitting at the bar and enjoying the small plates with their fine selection of wine, beer and sake.

This was the first time my husband and I went to The Cook and The Cork. Upon arriving at this charming restaurant, we were warmly greeted and shown to our table. Our waiter came right over. We were served water promptly and made to feel very comfortable as the waiter explained the specials and the menu. My husband and I enjoyed a perfectly cooked branzino. The service was wonderful. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food came out quickly and was very hot. After dinner, the blueberry cobbler is a must. Homemade vanilla ice cream topped it off. It was a lovely presentation as well as delectably delicious. We plan to return and try their many different small plate selections.

Small restaurant very personal service. The food was awesome. I will have to go back and try more of the menu items.

The only thing that was missing was that my Mom wanted a mix drink and they only had beer or wine.

Also, it was my Mom’s birthday and we noted it in the reservation and mentioned it to the server but no acknowledgement.

Our first time here, but not our last. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious. We had the octopus as a small plate appetizer and was the absolute best we have had. My husband is a big fan of short ribs. We both had them and he was in heaven. Make sure you have a reservation as the restaurant is small and fills up quickly.

Always amazing!! Every time we go, we discover something else that we love. We usually never make it past the small plates (because we love them all so much) but this time the table split one entree...exceptional!! Although all of the service staff has always been amazing...this time our server was Chris...ask for him!!! Our mouths were watering just by his description of each dish!!

The Cook and The Cork is the closest you can get from home cooking or your grandmother’s recipe, if you will. The service is impeccable. We went early in order to beat the crowd and was sitter and waited on promptly. I believe James? waited on us, he was very professional, polite and wore a smile that is genuine. He was prompt with orders and came back frequently to check on us without getting lost in the shuffle. The restaurant is small but the size allows customized service and the food individually prepared since they are made to order as opposed to ‘factory line, mass produced meal” similar to Hibachi setting at Benihana’s (not in negative tone)...

We went in early to have an early dinner and have time to rumble thereafter. The reviews on Sun Sentinel truly foot the bill and did not fail or fall short of expectations. I would highly recommend The Cook and The Cork for service, taste, cleanliness, both in establishment and food preparation. In a nutshell, The Cook and The Cork made a start of exciting night out. We will definitely go back again and again..... Thumbs up...!!

Another amazing dinner at The Cook and The Cork! The Beef Short Rib entree is amazing! Started with Bacon & Onion Dip with homemade chips and the Pot Stickers, both were delicious! Definitely would recommend this restaurant and make sure to make reservations!

My family and I had an amazing experience at The Cook and the Cork on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Everything was perfect, from the amazing appetizers to the Deserts. Plus, the service was excellent!!! Personally, I had the Pork Chop and it was amazing. My wife had the Short Rib and she remarked that it was one of the best she ever had. Plus, there is a very extensive Wine list. Just a really great time for the whole family.

This was a Mothers Day brunch which was perfectly prepared and served. No over-booking , no waiting, no running out of food and the preparation was as good as their usual presentation.
