The Cook and The Cork
The menu changes slightly with every season, and the wine, sake, and beer list is always evolving and growing.
The Cook and The Cork does not want to be considered fine-dining, but they take food and drink seriously. Their goal is to have all their guests be a part of the fun, and to share the love they have for the restaurant, food, and staff.
Private and large parties accommodated, please contact directly: firstname.lastname@example.org or call.
Valentines. Excellent Mahi Mahi special. Perfect mussel appetizer and their wagyu steak was AMAZING!
Thank you! Beautiful event.
Food great as always.
Love love love!! Delicious food beautifully presented. Charming restaurant with a warm inviting vibe.
Food is consistently outstanding. Our server Kimberly was terrific. The Cook and the Cook is a true standout with gourmet options in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere..
After reading all the reviews we were very excited to attend this local restaurant. Unfortunately, we did not have the same outstanding experience. The small plates were good, especially the garlic shrimp. The entrees of pasta bolognese were terrible. The sauce was very thick, and did not cover the amount of pasta for the dish. The flavor was quite strong as though it had been sitting around. Both of us love pasta, and would definitely not recommend this entree. We ordered a bottle of Proseco which we had to keep refilling our glass (not that we mind), by the time our server came to fill our glasses, the bottle was empty, and so were our glasses. The establishment is very small; therefore, very loud. Not a place to go for a romantic dinner if there is a bar crowd (which there was, but did empty quickly). The prices are too high for what they are attempting to accomplish. (Servers in jeans, focus is on beer list rather than wine, and seating is way too close together).
We have eaten here several times and had fabulous food & service. This was our first time coming on the weekend so it was very busy so maybe that was why the food was a bit overdone & service spotty. Probably will stick to week nights in the future.
Another great meal at our favorite Coral Springs restaurant. Delicious food, ambience and my favorite white wine sangria.
The food was amazing. The service was attentive, friendly and professional. The wine selection is excellent. The only downside is the noise level. It is a small restaurant with tables close together so when the restaurant is full, it is very loud.
Server was amazing!!!food was delicious can’t wait to go back
Birthday celebration, everyone had a good time. Food is always excellent.
Great food that was perfectly prepared. Wonderful wine list with an extremely knowledgeable server who my hubby could have talked about wine with all night long. Will definitely return. Hopefully soon!
A beautiful experience, perfect setting for our couples date. The music, the server, made me feel like I was in a Paris or New York bistro. The wine choices were amazing, we started with champagne, then moved onto "8 Years in The Desert", a super allocated collectors wine which we were excited to see on the list. We shared small plates and each had our own entrees. All around excellent. Thank you Cook and Cork
Great food and service as usual. Lydia is an outstanding waitress. We will keep coming back!
Will not go back. Service was awful. No one visited our table for 20 minutes when we sat down. It was extremely noisy and difficult to hear across the table. The four people at our table did not get their entrees at the same time. 2 dinners came and then 3 minutes later the third and then the fourth dinner came 5 minutes after that. I ordered the veggie sides as an entree and instead they brought me steamed vegetables that tasted like they came out of a steam-in-a-bag frozen vegetable isle (and charged 20$ for it). Very disappointed.
This was our second time here and we had a great experience on both occasions . The food is outstanding as is the service . It’s a small but cozy restaurant . Both visits I’ve had the grilled octopus and the WAGYU NY Strip steak . Delicious. Highly recommend this place. Will be back again soon.
Dining at The Cook and the Cork turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. It’s small and intimate—you almost forget that you’re in Coral Springs. The food was delicious, and the wine selection was great. Just got bubbles, so I can’t say for sure how good the prices are for the wine selection, but seemed to be okay. Happy Hour was bar only which was a little disappointing especially because our table was literally right next to the bar, but we understood. The french fries were the best I’ve had in a while, and the mussels were awesome. The spare ribs were really good, but it only came with three and they were very small for two people to share. The only thing that wasn’t that great was the dessert. Not really worth it. But everything else is why I’m going back.
Loved this place. Food, service and ambiance were fantastic. Highly recommend
Excellent food and service was good! I wish I could have sample more on the menu.
Excellent choice of small plates and entrees. Food was fabulous.
Read reviews on yelp to try the short ribs. They were tasty but a little on the salty side for me. We tried the small plate octopus with roasted fingerling potatoes, sorry could have been better. I had more potatoes than octopus, tasty but could have had larger pieces of octopus. The ambience was great not noisy at all. A very good selection of wines and most of all the service was phenomenal.
One of our favorite local restaurants; never fails to please in all respects. Warm, vibrant ambiance, friendly, highly professional owners and employees (shout out to Arthur!) Great entrees, but we never seem to get beyond small plates, because there are so many and they are so good. We pick a half dozen or so and go for it. Great, well-chosen beverage selection, including draft and bottled craft beers, sake selection, and a diverse wine list. If you haven't been yet, go!
The server was friendly and informative. The food was excellent. We look forward to going back.
Just delicious. Love the home made chips and dip. Love the pierogies. Love the tempura shrimp. Love the spare ribs. Love the short ribs. The service is outstanding. The white sangria is delicious. It can be pricey, but the food and service is so good, it’s worth it.
My girlfriend and I celebrated an anniversary and loved our dinner. The food was great (she got the pappardelle bolognese and I got salmon with shrimp and mussels). Our waitress was great, very nice lady and made our night special.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The had pre-New Years day brunch and it was excellent. They do not have brunch often and I understand it is usually buffet "out of the kitchen" but this time it was A la Cart. It was wonderful. Service was quick but not rushed. Food was outstanding.
We found this gem of a restaurant and continue to go there on various occasions. We are on their email listing and they opened specially for brunch on Sunday 12/30. they normally do not offer brunches. The eggs benedict and French toast were amazing! We will be back.
Great food and service as usually!!
We have eaten here numerous times over the years. My meal was excellent. I had the short ribs that can't be beat. Cajun spiced scallops with cheesy grits was bland tasting and needed some spice. My wife had the evening fish special Wahoo. Her first bite was extremely fishy tasting. She cut away a large portion and finished eating it. The fish was overcooked as well. The zucchini veggies on the side were a disappointment. Aside from the delicious short ribs, the meal fell short of the usual high standards. Our server was attentive and pleasant. We love this place, but the noise factor and a not so great meal may prevent us from returning.
Our server Kimberly was very enthusiastic and helpful. The Mexican street corn salad was my favorite. Food came out fairly quickly
The food is always great and very interesting. I had a salad and an appetizer (chicken and waffles) and it was plenty of food. Be sure to get the potato chips!
Everything was delicious. Laurie behind the bar was a fantastic hostess. The mexican corn salad was out of this world and the short rib was to die for. Masterful use of flavors in every dish.
The service is always attentive and the food consistently amazing! We love that we live so close and can go anytime!
What a great find! This place has fantastic service and food!
Wow! Awesome food served at The Cook and The Cork! We started with 3 appetizers, Duck Egg Rolls, Homemade Chips with Bacon and Onion Dip, and Bacon Wrapped Dates, all were delicious! For dinner 2 of us had the melt in your mouth Beef Short Ribs, the Grilled Bell & Evans Chicken Breast which was juicy, and I had the Pappardelle Bolognese which the pasta was homemade and the meat sauce was made with Kobe meat, delicious! For dessert we shared the Blueberry Cobbler and the Chocolate Bombe, both to-die-for! I would highly recommend this restaurant! Make a reservation!
Delicious meal, great wine list. Really enjoyed.
Every year a group of us (4-5 women friends) go out to dinner to celebrate Christmas. I picked this restaurant because I was there for my birthday and the others had never been there. Everyone loved it, excellent service and food/wine. It was Parade night so may have been a bit louder than normal once the restaurant was full.
It was my first visit with friends visiting from Morristown, NJ. We had one of the nicest, most relaxing, and delicious meals in all the 28 years we've been dining. My grand kids even joined us and they enjoyed the octopus, dates, roasted cauliflower and steak skewers with wasabi mashed! A very pleasant evening, great food, and can't wait to visit again. May even visit the bar for a glass of wine and a small plate.
Great food and great service. The menu is a bit limited, but every plate is hit. If you're looking for something a bit different and delicious, this is the place.
