The Cook and The Cork
The menu changes slightly with every season, and the wine, sake, and beer list is always evolving and growing.
The Cook and The Cork does not want to be considered fine-dining, but they take food and drink seriously. Their goal is to have all their guests be a part of the fun, and to share the love they have for the restaurant, food, and staff.

This is a treasure for food and wine lovers. With repeated WS excellence awards and a menu consisting of favorites plus new dishes, it’s an adventure in taste. Chef Keith Blauschild draws from many nationalities and techniques in presenting his menu. We love sitting at the bar and enjoying the small plates with their fine selection of wine, beer and sake.
This was the first time my husband and I went to The Cook and The Cork. Upon arriving at this charming restaurant, we were warmly greeted and shown to our table. Our waiter came right over. We were served water promptly and made to feel very comfortable as the waiter explained the specials and the menu. My husband and I enjoyed a perfectly cooked branzino. The service was wonderful. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food came out quickly and was very hot. After dinner, the blueberry cobbler is a must. Homemade vanilla ice cream topped it off. It was a lovely presentation as well as delectably delicious. We plan to return and try their many different small plate selections.
Food was delicious. Very quaint small place but such a cozy vibe. Wine list is also very good.
Small restaurant very personal service. The food was awesome. I will have to go back and try more of the menu items.
The only thing that was missing was that my Mom wanted a mix drink and they only had beer or wine.
Also, it was my Mom’s birthday and we noted it in the reservation and mentioned it to the server but no acknowledgement.
Excellent service and customer-centered service
(Staff found a bottle of cider for me - that was BEYOND my expectations and I appreciate it!)
Food was great. We did all small plates. Waiter, Gabriel was very attentive and did a great job. Can't wait to go back..
Our first time here, but not our last. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious. We had the octopus as a small plate appetizer and was the absolute best we have had. My husband is a big fan of short ribs. We both had them and he was in heaven. Make sure you have a reservation as the restaurant is small and fills up quickly.
The food and service is excellent. The ambiance is average and price is expensive.
Always amazing!! Every time we go, we discover something else that we love. We usually never make it past the small plates (because we love them all so much) but this time the table split one entree...exceptional!! Although all of the service staff has always been amazing...this time our server was Chris...ask for him!!! Our mouths were watering just by his description of each dish!!
Please bring back breton and normandy cider!!!!
Tasty food and excellent service. The short rib entree is incredible and the bacon wrapped dates appetizer are a must! Always enjoy our time at Cook and the Cork!
Great food. Great service. Nice atmosphere. Love this place!
The Cook and The Cork is the closest you can get from home cooking or your grandmother’s recipe, if you will. The service is impeccable. We went early in order to beat the crowd and was sitter and waited on promptly. I believe James? waited on us, he was very professional, polite and wore a smile that is genuine. He was prompt with orders and came back frequently to check on us without getting lost in the shuffle. The restaurant is small but the size allows customized service and the food individually prepared since they are made to order as opposed to ‘factory line, mass produced meal” similar to Hibachi setting at Benihana’s (not in negative tone)...
We went in early to have an early dinner and have time to rumble thereafter. The reviews on Sun Sentinel truly foot the bill and did not fail or fall short of expectations. I would highly recommend The Cook and The Cork for service, taste, cleanliness, both in establishment and food preparation. In a nutshell, The Cook and The Cork made a start of exciting night out. We will definitely go back again and again..... Thumbs up...!!
Our favorite spot!
This was our first time here we liked it very much the food was tasty lots to choose from and our server Tim was wonderful we will return.
Another amazing dinner at The Cook and The Cork! The Beef Short Rib entree is amazing! Started with Bacon & Onion Dip with homemade chips and the Pot Stickers, both were delicious! Definitely would recommend this restaurant and make sure to make reservations!
Our waiter and the friendly atmosphere were excellent . We tried several small plates and it all was excellent
Wanted to try something new and was pleasantly surprised. The wine list is great and the food was delicious!
Simply the best! The jewel of Broward County.
As usual the meal was fabulous. We shared apps. Don’t miss the ribs, figs and charcuterie. Great Sangria, excellent service. This is a go to place when I have visitors.
My family and I had an amazing experience at The Cook and the Cork on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Everything was perfect, from the amazing appetizers to the Deserts. Plus, the service was excellent!!! Personally, I had the Pork Chop and it was amazing. My wife had the Short Rib and she remarked that it was one of the best she ever had. Plus, there is a very extensive Wine list. Just a really great time for the whole family.
This one of our favorites. Great food and service
All that we ate was...yummy!!
Spanish theme servers should understand how tapas can be ordered
Our favorite restaurant. We go there 1 to 2 times a month. The food is always excellent. The service is great.
service was EXCELLENT. Food was very good. had the mussels, the pork chop and the short ribs between the two of us and had a lot of leftovers. Nice wine list. thought it was pricey; our bill was $120 plus tip including one glass of beer and one glass of wine
Love, Love, Love this restaurant! Food is exceptional (the short ribs are to die for)! Service is friendly and efficient. Lovely atmosphere. The chef/owner is always available to come out of the kitchen to greet diners.
Just a wonderful experience, overall.
The service and food was very good. It was a little noisy for a cozy dinner
The food was amazing and the service even better. Great experience.
We were seated quickly, interesting menu choices. Our server Linda was excellent! Food was wonderful, and desserts were amazing!!!
One of our favorite restaurants. We don’t get there often, but when we do we are always pleased. The quality of the food is always outstanding, as is the service. Try the short ribs! You won’t be disappointed!
Very cool place. Mom loved it for Mother's Day but it was way too expensive for what we got. Nice though.
This was a Mothers Day brunch which was perfectly prepared and served. No over-booking , no waiting, no running out of food and the preparation was as good as their usual presentation.
This is a must visit restaurant! We went there for Mother’s Day brunch and it was exceptional! Will be back for dinner soon.
I took my wife for Mother's Day Brunch. We had Mimosa's and too much food. It was outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone celebrating a special occasion. Thanks for another great experience.
Awesome Mother’s Day brunch!
I really enjoyed the food and the concept of the brunch in the kitchen, and the chefs were charming and cheerful as we invaded their cooking space. I did not feel the buffet selection merited such an exhorbitant price for brunch though, and given the small space of the restaurant felt they could not offer the selection they’d need to to justify the price.
Miss the cider from Normsndy and Brittany. It was something unique about Cork & Cook.
Small, intimate place with excellent food. We enjoyed the entire experience.
This restaurant is such a great local fine. If it had music it would put it over the top
