   We had ordered a seafood tower and while waiting for that we were asked to order quickly because they wanted to close early on account of the lack of customers. We felt rushed and ordered a bunch of apps. When the seafood tower came it looked good enough but when i went to eat a clam it smelled so bad it shocked me and I dropped the clam. They took the tower and said they would replace the clams with oysters because those were the last 3 clams. All of the apps arrived at once (salad, bone marrow, escargot (12), fries (from the burger - that my daughter ordered and asked for togo bc we felt pressure). Again, the dessert guy is about to go, do you want a dessert? We had a reservation for 7:30, called we were delayed -got there closer to 8- had we known we would have gone elsewhere if they planned to close early. Nothing offered or taken off the check.

   The food was very tasty but the service was slow and not very attentive. The noise level was quite high as well. Maybe worthwhile going on a less busy night.

   Muy bonito, camareros muy amables y comida exquisita. Algunos clientes muy chillones pero el restaurante no tenía la culpa

   Family dinner at the Consulate. The duck breast was good, the bone marrow better, and the truffle fries were the best we’ve had! Service was very good and the atmosphere was nice. The lighting is perfect as it lends ambiance, while still remaining functional. We enjoyed our Sunday dinner at the Consulate and would return!

   Excellent service and food beautifully presented. We were seated upstairs and the tables are too close to each other. We could hear every word of the conversation from the table next to us, even though we didn’t want to.

   Only got appetizer in over an hour. Left after an hour and 20 minutes with no food. Staff was kind, so don't know if something was off, but not an accetable wait.

   A fantastic restaurant. We enjoyed everything we ate. The service was amazing. We never had to ask for anything. This will be one of our go to restaurants in the city.

    Celebrated my wife’s birthday with an amazing dinner. The service and our waiter Gustavo were great. We had the oysters and caviar to start which were fresh and tasted great. My wife had the sea bass for dinner which she found to be better than most others she has had. My filet was cooked to perfection, tender, and seasoned well. We could not have asked for a better night. The ambiance of the restaurant is perfect for a quiet and romantic dinner.
