The air conditioning was not working properly. We were a party of 5 at one of the booth tables and it was unbearably hot.

We had a wonderful time at the Consulate. The ambiance was very comfortable and not too formal, yet maintained a classy feel. The decor was outstanding and complimented the restaurant themes perfectly. The food was equally impressive. The meat was perfectly cooked to a fall-off-the-bone texture and the sauce was the perfect compliment. They also have an excellent selection of non/alcoholic drinks. Overall amazing experience and I will surely be returning.

The combinations of flavors in these creative dishes and drinks cannot be beat!!! The decorating is unlike anything and service perfect!!!

The idea of The consulate is extremely cool, the menu has so much variety and almost everything we ordered was tasty. Drinks were solid and service was excellent.

Our first time here and it was amazing! Every dish we got was spectacular. The dishes they have outside of the rotating menu are there for a reason. We went during Egypt but stuck to the traditional menu. We got dumplings, egg noodles with lobster, and squid ink noodles with beef bulgogi. Friendly waitstaff, just was a little slow when we went. Good drinks too. Also perfect noise level, I don’t like when I can’t hear myself talk but it wasn’t too loud in there. Great ambiance as well. We’ll be going back to try more.
