Great service and great brunch menu! Love bringing friends to try this place out and have a great experience each time. Even made another brunch reservation for the following week!

We were seated quickly although we were early for our reservation. Our waiter, Mike, was awesome. He was prompt, personable and attentive. The other staff as well as Mike were quick to take our order, serve our appetizers (seared Brussels sprouts), our salads (half orders of kale Caesar and farro & goat cheese) and split our main dish for no extra charge (beef short rib). Our empty dishes were taken away quickly. We also split a red velvet cake slice with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious. A potential problem could be parking. We got lucky and found a spot right away. But I can see how it could be difficult if we had gone at peak times. It is also on the expensive side. Might be best for special occasions. We had a lovely time.

The service was FANTASTIC! Of course, the food was very good. (I had the veggie Benedict and my husband had the huevos rancheros. We shared a cinnamon Rolland it was soooo good) but we were truly impressed with the service. From the hostess to our server it was a five star experience.

Amazing! My girlfriend and I started with a cinnamon roll and split the special which was a chili Benedict. Both were perfect! Excited to go back.

My wife and I have visited this place no less than six times. I'm still shocked that it's not busier and we are grateful to be able to get right in. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is perfect. Busy, but not craziness. Will absolutely go again.

We would highly recommend starting off with a cinnamon roll. They are made fresh every morning, and are excellent!

As always, The Commons didn't disappoint. Our waitress Allie was amazing; anticipated needs, checking in without being intrusive and friendly. I am from Seattle but living abroad now. This was the top of the list for places I wanted to visit for brunch. Highly recommend.

We come to The Commons a lot, and always have a great time. My only complaint is it's pricey. My sandwich, fries, no drink, was $25 with tip. A sandwich. It was delicious though.

We asked to be seated on a double table next to the window. She said that has been reserved. I said we have reserved too. She would not do it. Then the food arrived. The steak was the worst I have ever tasted. It was chewi like gum and could not swallow. It had some green stuff and camewith a pile of overcooked dark brown fries. I could not eat it. I told the waitor and he took off the price. We gave him a fifty dollar gift card but still had to pay sixty dollar. It was my birthday present!

Good restaurant for adults, and they are sensitive to kid’s needs/desires. Only issue is that if your child doesn’t like sourdough bread (& ours doesn’t), and they order the grilled cheese, you’ll have to order another... the second was on whole wheat- which was too “whole” for my daughter’s taste. Recommend you bring in some simpler breads for your younger/pickier customers... but the wait staff was really flexible and accommodating!

Love taking the family to The Commons! Everyone can find something the like and the kids love the intricate coloring sheets. Food was excellent, appreciated the wine selection, service was attentive but not over-bearing. Only down side - music and noise. Hard to hear and have conversation.

The Commons is a great place to meet up with friends. I especially love their brunch menu and options versus their dinner menu. The hosts were gracious in letting my friend and me stay a bit longer after we had paid our bill so we could catch up further, we really appreciated it!

Burgers were over cooked and shepherds pie came in skillet that was must have been heated in blast furnace as it was so hot it wasn't edible. Noise level was painful to the ears mostly due to a large table where women were screaming. No management presence or intervention. Another mediocre restaurant brought to by the same company that runs Purple.

Came here for dinner with family. Nice decor and friendly staff. HH Monday thru Friday so that's nice. The food however is a mix bag. The Mac and cheese was good, as was the seated Brussels sprouts. However the main entrees were much less impressive. The pork chop was well seared and cooked to perfection doneness where it was very moist. However it was over seasoned. Ironically, the beef short ribs with mashed potatoes were completely devoid of salt. The cheeseburger came out over done ( although the bun was excellent) and the tomato soup that came with the grilled cheese was more like watered down pasta sauce ( luckily i prefer to use the soup as dip for the sandwich anyways so it worked out). The cocktails were pretty good and they have a multiple variations of bloody Mary so that's a plus.

The Commons is one of my favorite places to eat. It feels like a cool restaurant from Seattle, but it's in Woodinville so much more convenient. We first checked this place out with my cousins who were visiting from San Diego; I mention this because they are used to cool restaurants and I had a hard time finding a "cool" place that was close to home. This has since become our go-to restaurant for those days where we want brunch and want to go out for it. 1) their homemade vanilla syrup for coffee is delicious 2) cousins and hubby said their bloody marys are some of the best they've tried 3) their potatoes for their break burrito bowl are crispy and delightful. Everything we've tried from there has been awesome! While the wait can be a bit of a drag, finding out we could book on Open Table has been great. We book on Tuesday or Wednesday (when we know we want to go... sometimes it is a last minute decision) and show up and get seated. Great! It is a bit loud in there for the soft spoken or hard of hearing, but I think that the noise fits with the restaurant style. It's not too loud that you can't hear one another, but it is definitely louder than I usually like. I also wish there was a bit more space between the tables, but it's not completely packed so that's great. All in all, highly recommend!

Wow, where to start. First, we couldn't hear ourselves think, let alone talk. We yelled across the very small 2 person table to each other. We both got headaches by the time dinner was done. If you like meat, and lots of noise, go for it. Otherwise, fish eaters and especially vegetarians have little fare on the menu. The fried shrimp were good, the veggie shepherds pie lacked flavor and the salmon sandwich, well, nothing special - except the ciabatta roll. We won't be back...not worth it for us at all.

The only bad thing I have to say about this place is the parking. Unless you see a spot right in front of the restaurant, go past it (if it's on your right, if not, double back) and turn right at the roundabout. There's extra parking down the hill that's not too far. I turned into the complex area and was stuck there for almost 15 minutes while cars waited in narrow pathways for other cars to leave. That parking lot is an absolute nightmare.

The food, ambiance, and service at the restaurant were amazing though. My girlfriend got the burrito bowl and I got the egg and bacon croissant sandwich. Both were delicious and we will definitely be coming back but definitely avoiding the parking fiasco!

The food was fantastic. I checked in and was told i would be called when table was ready. They called me by the wrong name three times. When i was waiting for quite a while i asked how much longer it might be, and they said “oh, we can seat you now.” Had i not asked, i just would have been left waiting. Check in and seating needs some work. Everything else was great.

Always love The Commons! Went for family pre-Thanksgiving diner and food was great as usual. Daughter had vegetarian pot pie that she loved, son-in-law has a delish burger. Hubby had jambalaya which was spicy but not too and I had a great chopped salad with grilled chicken rather than the breaded that was on the menu.

Make reservations- this place is always crowded. Highly recommend!
