We had an amazing experience last Sunday at The Common Stove. There was super entertainment, toe tapping and engaging and provided amazing ambiance. The way the entire staff provided options and recommendations in all aspects of our time there made us feel like we were regulars. We did have reservations about the food when we reviewed the menu prior to arriving but once we ordered and it arrived, we were so impressed with the presentation, the portion sizes and the flavors we vowed we would return. Great job to The Common Stove for bringing a restaurant like this to Orillia,

We have dined here several times before. Tonight as always everything has been great: the food and the service. We look forward to our next experience.

Excellent experience! My husband and I went for our anniversary and they made us feel special and very welcome. Service was great, staff were always checking in to see how the food was and if we needed anything. Very fresh, tasty food. Started with 3 appetizers and shared the ribeye and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All exceptional, highly recommend!

Food was excellent. The value was good, had to order side vegetables separately though - just main dish on plate. The restaurant’s noise level was too loud to be able to carry a conversation without having to raise our voice. Very busy.

Had dined here previously 3 or 4 times but it had been 6-8 mths since my last visit. FANTASTIC as usual & my girlfriend was equally as impressed. Best steak tartar she’s ever had & the heirloom carrots are a sure fire “can’t miss” side! 16oz ribeye with chimchurri was spot-on! And let’s not forget the creamy burratta with strawberries. Chef’s kiss!

Ordered the burrata which was excellent combination. Only suggestion is to give two pieces of the bread instead of one to enjoy these delicious toppings. Unfortunately the rib eye was over cooked. Ordered medium rare and received medium well. The place salt in side. I wish steak was more salted. The lobster pasta dish was perfect. Fries excellent home cut. The star was the sticky toffee pudding. Only suggestion would be to change out the cream topping for vanilla bean icecream. I would try this place again. Setting was nice and staff friendly. I would make sure to tell them to ensure med rare for steak. I didn’t say anything this time and kinda wish I had. That was the only downfall when your paying 74 for a steak
