Was a little disappointed. Three people in our party. One had the beef stroganoff and was happy with his meal; one had filet cooked well done and it was very good - cooked perfectly and was juicy; other person had filet cooked medium and it was well done, dry and had no flavor. Would have sent back if server would have come to check on us sooner, plus don’t like to make a fuss with other diners. Got there early but as it filled up, it got pretty noisy. Tables seemed a little close together, especially tables by windows. Chairs were touching each other.

Great service and food. Prices of drinks and wine are high. 4 drinks at the bar were almost $100.

We came early to get a cocktail at the bar. Loved the cocktail menu, it had a great selection of contemporary and classic cocktails and was well presented and organized. The bartender was knowledgeable and helpful and fun to chat with (when he wasn't helping others) and he went above and beyond, mixing up a cocktail "off-menu" for me based on specs provided...it was deeelicious! The front of house staff was cheerful and accommodating, greeting us as we came in and arranging to seat us on the patio with a gorgeous view of the lake and the sunset...magical. Our wait staff was attentive and helpful, steering us in the right direction for apps and sides and providing overall good service. We had the clam strips and a caesar salad for an appetizer. The strips were crispy and well battered without being oily and the accompanying cocktail sauce and aioli were good complements, lightening up the richness of the meat and batter. The salad was a good portion, without being overlarge, and dressed perfectly...just enough to give good flavor, but not swimming in dressing. For entrees, we had the 8oz Filet and the Halibut, both were cooked to perfection. The bearnaise alongside the steak was a good balance to the steak and the the beurre blanc with the Halibut was both bright and creamy and went beautifully with the fingerling potatoes and the fish. All-in-all, a wonderful experience. We'll be back to try more :)

a little pricey, though food was good. service was excellent. we were disappointed in our ice cream drinks. had to wait a long time for, cost $16.00 and were essentially as liquid as water. couldn’t figure out where the ice cream was. never have i ever had one so bad.

So good. Everything was perfect. It was expensive but worth the expense. The wife and I definitely plan on returning.

We had our 43rd anniversary dinner and choose the Commodore as we had not been there since they opened last year. Beautiful setting, had a cocktail at the bar 30 minutes before our reservation, bar was well-staffed but very busy at the end of clearing out the Happy Hour crowd. They did an exceptional job with the remodel, absolutely worth going to at least the bar on a summer sunny late afternoon. Tremendous selection of hard to find bourbons and scotches, of course, be prepared to pay. This is a "full price" experience! Moving to the dining room, we were enthusiastically greeted by our serving team of 3, recognizing our Anniversary and providing casual / comfortable conversation which added to the ambiance. We were seated on the "inside" part of the dining room which was fine as we wanted a quiet environment. Next time I would try to request window seating as the Lake views were spectacular as a sailing regatta was going on. We ordered a Waldorf salad to split, which was excellent and just lightly dressed (how we like our salads), then the boned in ribeye special and the steak oscar. We choose not to order any sides, as our meals came with asparagus, little onions, small amount of mashed....just perfect amount if you don't want to be stuffed. Excellent warm bread / vermont butter as well and attentive / gracious service without being "too much". We were provided a comped glass of champaign each and one dessert which was a wonderful gesture and we had plenty of meat left for a full repeat meal at home on the weekend. One suggestion, if you don't order high quality restaurant steak frequently, remember that they will usually error toward the rare side. We each could have used a touch more "doneness" but we didn't want to interrupt our experience and it still tasted great. We will definately go back and want to experience their happy hour foods / experience. For us, the dining experience, while outstanding, will be reserved for very special occasions!

Our server Chris was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the food! The food was delicious and the presentation was very nice. Yes, it is pricey, but well worth it in our opinion.
