   I was disappointed with the service received, firstly on arrival, to an empty pub (most people sitting outside as a lovely day) we were given a seat for 2 people the smallest table by a pillar in the middle of the pub, asked for a table by the window which we were given, then wasnt told whether we ordered at the bar or waiter/waitress would come to the table, so after waiting ages went to order at the bar and then was told no we take your order at the table, waited ages for the food, which was quite good value, confusion about the drinks, another waiter then seemed to take over and he was very polite, apologetic for everything,. As was a nice afternoon took drinks outside and was lovely hearing live music, must say atmosphere much better then and would still recommend this pub but had been before and was much better service

   it was a typical pub Sunday lunch, but was ok, waited a while to get our booked table, the, I presume to be the manager didn't seem to "on the ball" with sorting out peoples bookings, was fine once we were seated again meal was ok, music was quite loud for a mid-daytime session, had been before a while ago seemed a bit tired in appearance since then, but wouldn't stop me going again.

   I like the atmosphere in the Command House. The waitress and waiter were attentive. The steak was cooked perfectly to our requirements. The whole meal was very enjoyable. Have been before and will come back again.

   Really good value for money, lovely spot on the river, perfect for enjoying a relaxed Sunday lunch. Looking forward to my next visit.

   The only plus side to this dining experience were the staff which were friendly & attentive. The building itself was lovely although bit dark & dingy inside & tables quite on top of one another. The food on the other hand was dia!! Burnt potatoes, patak mix stuffing ball (which contained no meat!)!, dried out chicken breast which was so dry it was a choking hazard, and instant gravy to round it off! Certainly glad I got a groupon deal with a saving of 59%! Was hardly worth the £4.95 in which we paid!!!! Hence to say we were not the only customers who thought so.

   We a family of 4 adults went on a Sunday afternoon with a groupon voucher. We were told that there was a 20 minute delay with the food so we was all offered a large complimentary drink which was very nice of them. The staff were brilliant and they made sure that we had everything we needed for our meal like sauces etc. We would definitely recommend it and will be back. Thank you command house for looking after us.

    Staff friendly but need more training, however, polite and attentive. Food ok ,but roast spuds too dry been cooked and warmed up However we would go back to give the benefit of the doubt. However, we feel that chef etc need more training
