   This was our first visit to the Colney Fox, and we really liked it. It was the perfect half way point for family to meet, and just off the M25. We had excellent service and the food was very good. The Sunday roast was excellent quality in comparison to some other pubs we’ve been to. Highly recommend for a Sunday lunch.

   Arrived for a table at 2pm was left standing at the bar until 2:30 then was seated eventually at around 3pm then our starters arrived at 3:30 and still no food until gone 4pm And then they forgot my Yorkshire pudding on my roast so they decided to deep fry one and give me that! This is the worst service I have ever come across! Would not recommend to anybody!!!!!

   Dined here for Mother’s Day. They had definitely bitten off more than they could chew. Long wait for the food and went it arrived it was luke warm. My nephew ordered by the kids menu and the pizza was part cooked

   The Colney Fox was warm and welcoming, and the ambiance was just right for a Sunday lunch. The roast dinner was ample in its proportions, and was hot and very tasty, loved the fact you can have as much gravy as you like, we had the triple roast and my only gripe would be the beef, unfortunately it was a little chewy, other than that, no complaints at all .

   It was my birthday . The pub was quite busy but it always takes an age to get served at the bar. The food was excellent though .

   Do not like the idea about paying to park I know you get money back on food but not worth just going in for drink.
