Really great food, lots of options. Drinks where amazing and the service was great. Can’t wait to go again.
Grilled artichokes with perfectly cooked and aioli was a fantastic accomplishment. Crispy grouper sandwich was tasty. Would go back for another. Signs labeling restaurant were not visible from parking lot.
We love The Collins and all of the restaurants under Common Ground Culinary. We are working our way to each location to check out their ambiance and yummy food. Our waiter this visit was Brandon and he was nice enough to give us a coconut cream pie for dessert just because he liked us and my in-laws. Very attentive staff and great food as always. We met Chris Collins on our first trip to The Collins almost a year ago and he was a breath of fresh air, so kind and very funny. We will always recommend and business under Common Ground Culinary Group!
The Collins is definitely one of our go to restaurants.
When you order a martini shouldn’t the glass be full??? Either charge me more, but don’t pour a skimpy drink, that’s pure cheapness! If you are looking for social distancing, this is not the place for you! While the food is consistently good, the service is lackluster at best!
Collins was a bit of a disappointment. They had assured us they could meet our gluten-free needs, but many things on their menu are needlessly gluten-filled. French fries? No can do. They are dipped in gluten-containing coating before being fried. Crab cakes - nope. If you want GF crab cakes, go to Buck and Rider. The service was very good, but the food was underwhelming.
We love the Collins!!! The food is outstanding, they have a fantastic wine menu and the service is extremely professional! I highly recommend this restaurant
Food was great. Service was terrible. They apparently close the bar at 9, even though we had an 8:30 reservation. She came over and told us it was last call. I’ve never in my life had that experience while dining. It felt like we were being rushed out, but at the same time the food took forever to come out. And we were out by 10. They lost $ not serving drinks. If you go, get the brussel sprouts. They were divine. My crab cakes came out and she said they were free since they didn’t come out “right.” But she didn’t want to keep me waiting longer on the dish, and if I wanted her to remake them she would. They were actually still pretty good, so I can’t imagine how good they would be if served correctly. I’d try again, but have an earlier reservation.
Delicious Consistent and excellent service
Due to the pandemic this was my Corporate dinner and my family loved it. I appreciate all the staff, the food is very delicious and the ambience of the restaurant is just amazing. This is definitely a jewel and must go to for me and my family be I can’t wait to go back!
Loved everything and our server was fantastic. The corn/crab chowder was soooo good. If you like martinis, they are perfectly shaken and served “up” in a very nice glass. Will be back for dinners and happy hours❤️
Music needs to be changed. Old slow rock from the 80s was depressing and didn't go with the atmosphere.
Place is a gem! Great food amazing service and kid friendly!
It was my first time being there. I will definitely come back and refer them to my friends.
Made a last minute decision to go on a dinner date to the Collins and it was more than what I hoped! Atmosphere was very comfortable and at the time we went it was very quiet - almost felt like our own private spot. Food came out quick and packed a lot of flavor. The Brussels sprouts for an appetizer, the chicken Brie sandwich and the bistro burger were all cooked perfectly and were elegantly presented. The cocktails topped it off with nice touch as well. We would recommend going on an off-peak time if you’re looking for an intimate and affordable dinner out like we did!
Delicious food esp French onion soup, mmmmm... Great cocktails, new peach vodka martini was fantastic. Excellent attentive service.
This is one of our favorite spots for date night. Low lit, perfect temperature, great food and pretty cocktails. The ambiance is just perfect. If you are looking for great restaurants with great food and the best customer service, Common Ground Culinary is the way to go. Every restaurant has surpassed our expectations!!
Went for birthday dinner. Was the first time back since Covid precautions in place. They still had phenomenal service and the food was amazing. Did a great job with social distancing.
Really great food, really terrible service. Waited 15 minutes after being seated before having to search for someone to come over and at least get us some water. They said there was some oversight when getting seated even though we had a reservation. Ordered drinks, took another 15 minutes and they brought everyone but mine. Got one of our dish orders wrong. Had to keep asking other servers walking by to find our server. It was an ordeal even trying to get salt and pepper. She kept apologizing, but then kept ignoring us. They comp’d us my late drink, our $4 starter bread, and $8 dessert for a $150 meal. I guess that was fine, but won’t be going back if they are this ill-prepared for Friday dinner dining. Lots of better options close-by at similar prices with outstanding service
Outstanding gem of a restaurant in heart of Phoenix! Will definitely return!
I love every restaurant in this brand! Another hit and I will be back. 😊
The guac was the tiniest little dollop of guac with some overly salted chips. The drinks were all very good. The crab Mac n cheese tasted like straight up fish. But the pasta and sauce inside were AMAZING. you guys should offer regular Mac n cheese on the happy hour menu, without the crab. The chicken and Brie sandwich was good. The ambiance was nice, the view was really nice from the patio.
Dined here with my husband this week. The food and service were both exceptional. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in everything- even the Caesar salad was better than usual! I had the ribs, and my husband ordered the short ribs- both were delicious. We finished off with pumpkin pie which was FABULOUS! Our server, Ashley, was wonderful, and we felt very safe with all the staff wearing masks and appropriately distanced seating. We will definitely be back.
Went on an early Saturday night; nice cozy little space.
The wait staff was very attentive throughout service and checked in on us regularly.
I got the prime rib over medium rare with the bourbon and berries cocktail. The meat was cooked just perfectly, and the cocktail had a good warmth with a hint of cinnamon, sugar, citrus/berry to it. Would definitely order both again.
My boyfriend got the grouper sandwich with fries; he felt like there was too much breading on the grouper and felt like he should have gotten the ahi entree instead.
We both shared the salmon tartare, which had good Asian sesame flavor to it.
Liked that they also provided hand sanitizer on our table at the end of the meal.
Everything was fabulous! This restaurant really pays attention to all the details and we had such a great time and a great meal
great food - must get artichoke and brussels sprouts for appetizers! Pretty restaurant, great drinks and good variety on the menu.
Excellent service and the food (salmon, ribs, etc.) was spectacular.
He forgot to put in our order and only brought part of it. However they were able to get it out fast
We will be back. Nice restaurant
Third time back! Love this place. Attentive service and great food. Tried different things each time and never disappointed!
Literally the best meal I’ve ever had. The Brussels sprouts are amazing, only thing better is the coleslaw. Can’t wait to go back.
Very good service. Great food!! Ribs are the best :)
Another outstanding meal with friends on the patio. Prime rib night! With loaded baked potato. And be sure to have the desserts....all three....coconut pie, tres leches, and chocolate mousse pie.
We were celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday as a family and the service, food and drinks were perfect!
Drinks and Apps were great! We sat on the patio and had a great experience
WE LOVE THE COLLINS! The food is always outstanding, and the service impeccable.
Great job! Good food and service
Great Social Hour and a great dinner with outstanding service !!
Best service in the Valley! The Happy hour selection is good and the food above average!
