We dislike th noise in restaurants and it was nice to sit outside
Pimento cheese dip and warm chips was great! Salad and pizza were just ok
I had listed that it was for a birthday and they didn’t mention anything. Kinda bummed because every time I book somewhere on Open Table they know and mention something nice. It was my mothers birthday.
Food was amazing and service was excellent. Appetizers were flavorful and picturesque. Had the Crab Cakes Egg Benedict that was the best I've ever had. Looking forward to sampling the menu soon.
We had a lovely evening! Delicious food, open air but inside, great wait staff, delightful surroundings and location. Third time we have dined here - always good!
The food was good, but one meal ordered with a sauce on the side, had to be sent back due to an error in preparation. The replacement plate was quick to show up, though. Clean, attractive space, with pleasant and attentive servers, and a nice selection of menu items.
This was our first visit. We loved everything about the place! Noise level was perfect for conversing! Food was great, service was excellent. Already recommended your place to friends!
We went to the Collins for happy hour to celebrate my friend's promotion. The service was attentive, but not annoying. The shishito peppers were amazing. They had fund drink specials. I will definitely be back!
Delicious salmon+wonder salad, husband got one of the wood fired pizzas. Cute spot, great service, reasonable prices. We'll be back!
We are never disappointed at The Collins Small Batch Kitchen. We took some "1st timers" there this week and they were quite pleased. When leaving the restaurant, our friend promised to return with other friends.
Fast service, friendly service, food delicious and very fresh!!
Lovely meal & excellent service and ambience. Brussels Sprouts and the bread & butter were fabulous.
We love the place
Great food and value! The service could have been better. Waited 40 minutes for entree.
The pimento cheese dip was fantastic. We had Maryland crab cakes and blackened swordfish, both of which were very good, although the ‘blackened’ could have been just a touch spicier. Blackberry cobbler was outstanding. Cute place...we will be back!
My favorite neighborhood restaurant. Great comfort food, interesting menu. Attentive service. Small batch menu is fun. If you live nearby it’s definitely worth a try. If not it’s likely worth a trip. Not life changing but very reliable. Seems like a good local bar scene too.
Great craft cocktails- nice neighborhood farm to table fare. Perfect for couples and for happy hour!
Food and drink were awesome, one of the best margaritas I've had. Service was too notch. Had the swordfish topped with crab and we also had the lasagna. Yum.
Wonderful, friendly environment and delicious comfort food. We’ll be back!
When I made the reservation I noted that is was a meal for my birthday and we wanted to be seated outside. The hostess was very polite and honest to let us know that the table she had saved for us was given to someone else. And during our visit there was never a mention about the birthday. Everything else was great.
Super place with innovative menu. Terrific Happy Hour options, both food and drink. Service was great as was the decor/ambiance. Small place, but nicely done with small bar and nice high top area, small patio area and medium sized dining area. We will definitely return.
The Collins has become my favorite restaurant in Phoenix. The food, service, and ambience are exactly what I like. It's an American restaurant, but with a French bistro vibe. The food is delicious, the portions generous, there are a lot of options on the menu, and everything is fairly priced. The service couldn't be better. The setting is comfortable and welcoming, and parking is convenient. My wife and I will continue to return over and over again to this wonderful establishment.
I ordered a crab cake salad. It consisted of a half cup of greens and a single crab cake for $17. I expected a lot more greens at least. Tasted good but was still very hungry. I expected more as priced a full meal.
Enjoyed our dinner. Noticed improvements since the "renaming" from Twisted Grove. Menu was a lot better with a variety of options. We would go again and would recommend to others.
Ambiance was lovely and the hostess staff was delightful. Servuce was ok and the food was ok too.
Great restaurant. Great food. Service was really really slow. Our server would just disappear for large chunks of time.
First off the French onion soup was good they had a cheese problem by the time I got was mostly cheese is melted and fall into the bottom of the bowl and homemade bread that is made on site is great l Bread service but in the soup you can't pull apart with a fork so it gets messy soap to pull out and cut it our table have the burger what's a cheese it was supposed to be cheddar not if she's on to find it we also have pepperoni pizza what was very good for dessert we have the cobbler which was excellent
the hostess was incredible The service was excellent cool neat restaurant
This place had changed hands many times. I have been back twice. It’s my new favorite.
If I could sum it up in one word it would be inconsistent. The pork chop was probably the best I have ever had with the apple cider brine. It was tender and fantastic and then served with broccolini that wasn’t even warm. We also ordered the steak (medium rare) came out well done. 😑 sent it back and the second one was cooked properly, but both were crossing the line of too much salt, and I like a nicely seasoned steak. Overall 50% of each dish was 4 or 5 stars but the other 50% was 1 or 2 stars. We will try one more time as I think they have potential, but if they are still this inconsistent next time I wouldn’t go back. Service was nothing to write home about, but it wasn’t bad. Pork chop and spaghetti squash were the highlights.
Great improvements- don’t miss the Brussels Sprouts!
We loved this place! The food was great. I had starter and side veggies; my husband had the noodle salad with pulled chicken. Service was outstanding - quick, very polite, and efficient. Great value! Fun vibe.
Real good food, very friendly service.
The food is consistently good
It is a great neighborhood restaurant, with a varied menu
It was Valentine’s Day and it was like any other day.....good service and good food
Went here for valentines dinner! Place was great the atmosphere was great had a modern classic feel to it. Drinks were fantastic Had the Old Fashioned. Also food was great tried the Crab Caked and Short ribs. Also loved the table space and noise level not to loud. For sure coming back!
This was our second visit to The Collins. It was fantastic! We arrived in time for Happy Hour drinks and enjoyed the chips and French onion dip.
My husband had the rotisserie chicken and I had the Scottish salmon. Both dishes were delicious. We shared a piece of pecan pie for dessert.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.
There are many vegetarian options too.
Staff were very attentive and friendly.
A great evening of dining.
We've been eating at the Collins' restaurants for more than 10 years. We always find it to be welcoming and the staff, friendly. We love the food and are very happy that they are in our neighborhood.
Great restaurant, wonderful menu, excellent staff and service.
Overall a very nice place. The staff was friendly and helpful but our waiter was a little too busy. I asked for extra dressing and he forgot, so I had to ask another waiter who happily got it for me. The menu prices were decent and doable. The food was good although in our opinion lacked basic spices. We will try this place again, maybe with friends next time.
