Excellent service! Jared was great with recommendations and very friendly. Amazing Brussels and don’t miss the butterscotch pecan pie!
Brussel sprouts were Amazing! Crab Cakes were very good too!
Food was great and experience was great!
craft cocktails, fun atmosphere, friendly service, good food... what's not to like? :)
We had a reservation at 7PM and had to wait about 5 minutes when we arrived for the table to be ready. They were starting to get busy at that time on a Friday night. We were greeted by our waiter right away. He gave us some time to look over the drink menu, but we had to wait another 5-10 minutes for him to come back. We ordered 2 drinks - wine and a cocktail which took about 10 minutes to get to the table. We waited longer to put our food order in. The noise level is fairly high in the restaurant and with the larger table it sometimes made it difficult to hear some of the conversation. The ambiance overall though is good. We waited an average amount for our food. The food was all excellent. All the meat was perfectly cooked - we ordered the pork chop, short ribs, and salmon. The cauliflower and spaghetti squash were really good!! We had to wait a while after we were done eating for our waiter to come back and for the check. Overall, the food made this experience excellent. I would definitely recommend to someone!
Great atmosphere, service and food. Prices are very reasonable, also
Our waitperson was excellent. All of the staff here is friendly, service is excellent. The food is just right. Small plates are perfect and wine list is very good!
First time and really liked it. Food was not fancy but very well prepared and tasty. Great menu with some great choices. French onion soup was excellent steak Fritz was very good
Very friendly staff and delicious apps and food.
While visiting Phoenix, drove by the place and was drawn to the blue neon lights, googled it and decided to check it out for dinner. No regrets!
This is now a very noisy place for pizza or sandwiches and fine dining is out the window. Menu on location different than on line. Now not even prime rib or a french dip made from prime rib. Still no higher end steaks. Won't be back.
My girlfriend and I went to Collins for a pre concert dinner. We were seated immediately and with only an hour we had an excellent dining experience. The hostess was very kind to us and told the chef that we were celebrating the end of a long work week (true story!). Our server Frankie assisted with our order and was knowledgeable about the menu. He convinced me to order the beets as a side with my grouper sandwich and his recommendation rang true. My meal was delicious and cooked perfectly. My girlfriend ordered a burger with roasted cauliflower and it was also cooked perfectly. I particularly enjoyed the brioche sandwich roll. Our check came to us on the dot and while we were waiting for the credit card, the chef came out and said hello noting that he heard we had a hard work week and offered us a dessert to go. We were on our way to our concert with a full belly and a pleasant memory of Collins. Thank you for the special experience. We enjoyed the concert but the evening started off strong with dinner at Collins.
If you are taking your family try to not sit in the bar. The glass and tile makes it impossible to hear each other when you are talking! Otherwise food was great.
Service was excellent right off, the food was terrific.
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner. The service was quick and the food was hot.... just the way we like it!
I was surprised to see That Twisted Grove... the 32nd St. Location in the Safeway shopping center has been re-named The Collins Small Batch Kitchen. I was told it is the same owner... just re-branded. If you like the other restaurant you will enjoy this as well... food selection is pretty similar!👍👍👍
I really enjoyed the Collins . Great home cooking comfort style affordable restaurant. Great friendly server too.
The restaurant was having some staffing issues but the manager made everything right before even being asked. Looking forward to going back.
My mom and I came in for dinner on a Monday evening and there were many people working on the floor yet our server was not very attentive. The menu was not very descriptive so I didn't know my food would arrive with a sauce on it was it had to be return. The food was lukewarm at best. Great location and we wanted to like it but our food experience was less than fair and we are not planning to return.
Love this place. Have been twice and both times, the food was tasty and the drinks were perfect. Service is also spot on. New place for brunch and cannot wait to go for happy hour!
Love the new menu, everything was delicious!
Very nice experience. Friendly staff. Good food. Will return.
Our server was very charming. Lucy made us feel at home. She Explained and discussed choices with us. Everything excellent and efficient.
Had a business meeting with my staff, service was great, food was great, atmosphere was good for a business meeting.
this is the 4th or 5th time this location has changed ownership and/or names in the past few years. But they got it right this time! The chef came out and checked on us 3 times and made some great recommendations. Staff was very attentive and the food was really good. They have an awesome patio. It has a good vibe. Def a keeper!
My husband had roasted chicken and I had the chicken tenders. Both were excellent. Shared the blackberry cobbler for dessert--it was great!
love this place! fantastic menu. our dinner was amazing. servers were personable. definitely coming back ...
Delicious food, delightful service, lovely atmosphere
My family and I have been to twisted Grove many times and love the restaurant. I was surprise to hear that two weeks ago the restaurant changed its name and its menu. I read some online reviews that were critical of the service so I called ahead and was assured the wait staff was the same.
As before, the food was really great, but the service was just TERRIBLE! After we were seated, it took 10 minutes for anyone to come by our table and get our drink order. Then it was 30 minutes before we even got a piece of bread.
The server was a very affable fellow. I think we were his only table in our section and, on a Sunday evening, half the restaurant was empty! This level of service is unacceptable and I would not go back again.
With so many poor reviews for service, the owners need to do something quickly! There are just too many other fine restaurants in the area that offer professional service. Sorry, to write such a critical review.
Great menu and every dish I’ve tried has been really good. Their chicken tender platter is especially good and is a huge portion
The charred Brussel sprouts were to die for as well as the fries. Myself and a friend shared the steak frites and were highly disappointed. The food came out undercooked, and when recooked was still under done.
We were really excited to try this place, but disappointed in the meal choice. The steak was tough and chewy.
I’m hoping this is just a one-off situation
The food, which was fantastic before as Twisted Grove has gotten even more creative and more delicious. They still the best crab cake around and now they have oysters, pizzas, sides that can combine for a meal, creative salads, sandwiches and more. They have the friendliest and smartest servers in the area. You also have a choice of noise level, bar area or dining area. I can’t wait to try everything.
We were celebrating a b-day so disappointed that the restaurant didn't pick up the dessert after 3 of us had lunch and drinks. Asked our server to put us on a mailing list for futre events, never followed through. The restaurant needs to do more advertising.
A wonderful experience. Our server was amazing. We will come back for sure. So close to home.
Great re-do of the menu and concept! Always loved Twisted Grove, but like the Collins!
Big portions, delicious food. We tried this place out for restaurant week never having heard of it before and it was really good! We would definitely come back.
This was our first visit but won’t be the last. The only thing that was better than the great food was the service.
It was my first time here and the food was very delicious. We came for restaurant week and got to enjoy a fabulous 3 course meal
Excellent service! The crafted cocktails were delicious, appetizers perfect and the main course was absolutely superb. Twisted Grove is one of our favorite restaurants.
Very friendly, but slow service and odd timing. Slow to arrive at table and had to order twice. Food was great though!
Enjoyed the red fish and my free birthday dessert (tres leches cake) very much!
