This place had changed hands many times. I have been back twice. It’s my new favorite.
If I could sum it up in one word it would be inconsistent. The pork chop was probably the best I have ever had with the apple cider brine. It was tender and fantastic and then served with broccolini that wasn’t even warm. We also ordered the steak (medium rare) came out well done. 😑 sent it back and the second one was cooked properly, but both were crossing the line of too much salt, and I like a nicely seasoned steak. Overall 50% of each dish was 4 or 5 stars but the other 50% was 1 or 2 stars. We will try one more time as I think they have potential, but if they are still this inconsistent next time I wouldn’t go back. Service was nothing to write home about, but it wasn’t bad. Pork chop and spaghetti squash were the highlights.
Great improvements- don’t miss the Brussels Sprouts!
We loved this place! The food was great. I had starter and side veggies; my husband had the noodle salad with pulled chicken. Service was outstanding - quick, very polite, and efficient. Great value! Fun vibe.
Real good food, very friendly service.
The food is consistently good
It is a great neighborhood restaurant, with a varied menu
It was Valentine’s Day and it was like any other day.....good service and good food
Went here for valentines dinner! Place was great the atmosphere was great had a modern classic feel to it. Drinks were fantastic Had the Old Fashioned. Also food was great tried the Crab Caked and Short ribs. Also loved the table space and noise level not to loud. For sure coming back!
This was our second visit to The Collins. It was fantastic! We arrived in time for Happy Hour drinks and enjoyed the chips and French onion dip.
My husband had the rotisserie chicken and I had the Scottish salmon. Both dishes were delicious. We shared a piece of pecan pie for dessert.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.
There are many vegetarian options too.
Staff were very attentive and friendly.
A great evening of dining.
We've been eating at the Collins' restaurants for more than 10 years. We always find it to be welcoming and the staff, friendly. We love the food and are very happy that they are in our neighborhood.
Great restaurant, wonderful menu, excellent staff and service.
Overall a very nice place. The staff was friendly and helpful but our waiter was a little too busy. I asked for extra dressing and he forgot, so I had to ask another waiter who happily got it for me. The menu prices were decent and doable. The food was good although in our opinion lacked basic spices. We will try this place again, maybe with friends next time.
We went for brumch on a Saturday around 12:30 and seated immediately. My Bloody Mary had a bit too much horseradish, but otherwise was tasty. The Croque Madame was so delicious and HUGE. I think I ate about a third of it. My husband had the Eggs in Purgatory and he was delighted that he had tried something new. He did not lick the plate, but probably wanted to do so. Service was great and our waitress helped describe the dishes so we could make the best choices. Can't wait to go back.
The veggie burger is delicious, but the popular onion soup is about the saltiest we've ever tasted and was a disappointment. Don't sit outside, as the patio has insufficient heating for a cold night and no cooling for a warm one, plus the street noise is pervasive. We loved Twisted Grove (in this location before) but are "meh" on Collins
First time to this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. We sat inside because the outdoor seating was disapppinting. Food was tasty and well prepared. I like a restaurant that offers small plates and there were many to choose from. We will be back.
Always a great place to meet friends. Nice wine selection and very good food.
Great food service was a little odd but overall good evening
Love what they did with the place! Service was great, the Chips and Sweet Onion Dip was excellent,
was disappointed with the Group Sandwich, over cooked and very dry, the Short Rib was also overcooked and disappointing. No one checked on us after we received our entrees. Maybe they didn't want the feed back, didn't ask why we didn't finish.
I would consider giving them another try.
The service and food was a little slow, however the manager was amazing and took the time to come over and apologize, which our group really appreciated. I would give this place another try for sure. The food was very good.
Excellent place. Great attention. Delicious food!
The food is amazing. And their small batch plates change every month. Hint: easier to park in the back!
We keep coming back for the good eats, great service, and happy hour.
Excellent restaurant in an area full of high quality restaurants. Good balance of neighborhood feel, yet upscale enough for date night. Foodie quality and diverse selections.
The food was excellent. The cocktails were delicious and our server, Laura, was superb. It was our first time there and we did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised!!. I am definitely going back soon.
Awesome place, loved the decor and the vibe of restaurant, the servers were excellent and the food was fabulous! I will definitely go back!
It was our first time and we will definitely be back. We live in the west Valley and it was worth the drive
Delicious, definitely a new favorite! Soba noodle salad with steak was to die for! My Mom had the crab cakes and loved them- I try to avoid french fries but will always make an exception here ;)
Their Friday Lobster Roll special was fantastic! Pizza was okay.
My husband grew up eating Maryland crab, and he agrees, these are the best crab cakes anywhere! Wonderful service, too!
A new go-to! Love the location! The food is always great, especially the brussel sprouts!
Food — delicious, except pizza crust is really floppy.
Nice ambiance except for the south-facing seating where the glare from the windows is blinding.
We’ll be back, and ask for different seating.
Our new favorite place. The food is outstanding and the servers very attentive and friendly.
So many servers but not available to serve. Had to ask several times for water and refills. Waiter very inexperienced
My husband and I had been for the first time on Thursday, January 12th and were so excited to find great food, service, and a terrific looking place. On Thursday I had asked Brittany to reserve a high top in the bar for us for Saturday. She pleasantly agreed, but indicated that normally they don’t reserve bar seating, but she would try her best. Saturday we returned to celebrate our niece’s birthday. Our requested table was available and the food was just as good and the service just as stellar. Katie the Manager was gracious, Anthony on Thursday was our server and our server on Saturday (I am so sorry to forget her name) we’re both pleasant, engaging, and efficient. The food.....Saturday we had Steak and Pomme Frites, Grouper, and Steak and Eggs for Saturday. The presentation, quality, flavor were perfect. Collins coleslaw very good. The sauces accompanying the fries and steak; wow! Definitely a keeper for lunch, dinner, or brunch. Oh, did I mention the delicious Tres Leche Cake for a complimentary Birthday gift was best ever. Thank you Management and Staff. Well Done!
Fresh unique menu. Great appetizers and cocktails
Food was delicious! Service was great!
loved the french fries and the brussels sprouts. The shortribs were disappointing
Wonderful, great food,,excellent wine and mixed drink menu. Has become our go to place for happy hour and good eats.
