chilled crème anglaise; this dessert takes 15 minutes to cook
The Collective was amazing! We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The menu was surprisingly simple but the flavors were varied like you wouldn't believe. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice evening over great food!
Though the food was very good, we were alarmed by a service charge of $25 (on our bill for just the two of us). At first we thought it was automatic gratuity, but it was clearly stated at the bottom of the receipt that the service charge is not in lieu of tip, so tip was still expected in addition. This was not printed on the menus, nor was it made clear prior to service. This is underhanded and unacceptable!
great experience - each dish was carefully constructed and delicious. Amazing cocktails - best pork chop in Seattle, if not North America. Save room for the grand marnier soufflé!
Great variety of well presented food. A few misses (the burger wasn't great), but mostly hits. Odd serving staff. I could not tell who was on staff and who was a customer.
The vibe was perfect for a night out or a casual dinner with friends. If you can get a table, do it.
Amazing food, service and location. Highly recommended.
The bartender, who was also our server, was the best part of our time at The Collective.
I used to be a member before they were open to the general public (moved out of downtown) and was thrilled to be back last night. Friendly and attentive service, food was great as always. Looking forward to going back again.
Staff was awesome. Chill vibe. I’ll be back.
Great feel fo the place. Food was very good at a price one would expect for the quality. Nice indoor or outdoor dining options. Service was average but the server did well for as many tables she was serving.
Excellent brunch! As someone with a dairy allergy, I really appreciate the vegan pancakes!
We were there for Mother's Day Brunch. We were surprised to find a menu different than that posted online (several items we were looking for did not make the list). But the patio was nice and the servers let us move tables to get out of the wind and even rolled a heater up for us. Service was a little slow considering it was pretty quiet but maybe they were working more tables inside. Overall it seems like a nice place although maybe only open to the public during Covid.
The breakfast burrito was fantastic!!!! The avacsdo toast wasn't toasted so not my favorite. Excellent service!!
The vibes are good with this one! Decor and food were great too.
We were an undecisive bunch and took our time, but servers waited patiently, kept us updated on timing of the kitchen close, helped with recommendations!
All in all, great experience
Service was slow and subpar. Took at least 20 minutes for drinks to arrive. Then another 20 minute for wait staff to come by and take orders. Poor job of clearing the table before new dishes were brought out. A cocktail came with lots of sticky syrup on side of the glass. Halibut was not that fresh. Dessert souffle was very greasy.
I would not recommend.
The collective is a private club that is experimenting with opening to the public. The food is great casual fair that puts seasonal ingredients first.. lots of veggies and fusion dishes. You will need to be a little patient as it’s clear they are still working on how to scale to support the surge in dinner volume. If you go in with that expectation you will have a great time and it’s a great value. Super friendly staff.
Incredible food, drinks, and service. Was impressed with all the vegan options they offered!
My husband and I went to dinner on a Friday night and had such a nice experience. The cocktails were awesome! It took a while to get our dinner cause they were pretty busy, but our server kindly comped a round of drinks for us. Our dinner was very good. The burger was one of the best I've ever had and the burrito was also super yummy. We can't wait to go back and try more drinks and food.
Dinner and a show for my birthday was exciting. The seattle improv show was great. Our drinks were good. The appetizers were great. But our entrees never came out! It wasnt until the end of the show i realized we didnt get our food.
I'm so glad this gem opened to the public! After my first visit, I returned two days later because the food and service are excellent. I'm eager to introduce my friends to the place.
This place has amazing ambiance. Perfect for a dinner date or any other occasion. They have great selection of wine and beer, as well as some unique and delicious cocktails include chamomile vodka. Food is simply delicious. Pork chop on a waffle is a must. Service speaks your language. 10 out of 5
We were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We booked outside but upon arrival, the restaurant was very airy and and widely spaced inside so we chose to eat in. It was a very good choice! Excellent food!
We had a great server. The swordfish was excellent the burger not so much (too messy) thank god for the crab nachos appetizer. The nachos were tasty. We had a nice booth with adjustable lighting. Great spot for couples or networking. We enjoyed the strawberry shortcake for dinner and it was alright...nothing to write home about. This is my second time at this establishment and both times the drinks were light on alcohol and proper mixing. Overall a decent place for mingling over good food not so much the drinks.
We had such a great time at The Collective! The food and drinks were delicious, and staff was very friendly. I hope they open the restaurant up to non-members again soon.
Went to The Collective Seattle for my partners birthday without ever checking the menu. We definitely lucked out! There was something for everyone for appetizers, entrees, and even dessert. Great beer tap list as well, our favorite was the Moonstone Urban Family sour. For appetizers we got the crab nachos and PNW cheese and charcuterie board. The crab nachos fed the five of us and was to die for. Highly recommend. Burritos, burgers, and salmon were our entree choices and across the board delicious.
I’ve talked a lot about the food since that’s usually why people eat places, but even better than the food was the service. Our server was FANTASTIC. Super enjoyable, had us laughing, and stayed engaged with the dinner. He even recalled our names from validating our age.
If you live in the area I highly recommend the Collective membership since there’s such an array of benefits - even a rock climbing wall they change around often. We were so glad we found out about the non-membership dinners for March through The Nudge Seattle. There’s so much love and thought that went into this place!
Hope you enjoy as much as we did!
The food was amazing and the server had great recommendations.
great menu and excellent service! going to come
back for the soufflé
First off keep in mind we went as the covid restrictions were just lifting so there was a few people when we arrived but after they left we were the only patrons. The attention was over top. The food choices are limited but covers everything you may want. The lobster nachos are fabulous. The soufflé was marvelous but reminder to ask for it when you order dinner as it takes a while to make. The ambience is perfect. It is set up where you can mingle or have privacy. The best of both worlds. If I lived closer I would join the membership.
It was a fantastic experience! The service was excellent, the food was top notch and the ambience was was perfect. They did an excellent job of making the restaurant feel intimate and lively while making sure COVID precautions were upheld. It was by far the best COVID dining experience I’ve had and I look forward to going back not only during COVID but also once life is “back to normal”.
Service, Food and atmosphere was phenomenal! Great beer on tap selection is excellent value.
It has a great ambient, tasty food and excellent service.
We had an amazing experience dining at The Collective! Their new menu is out of this world, and we tried a lot of it. Stand outs include the oysters, pork chop, beet salad, smoked chicken, chocolate hazelnut cake and churros with Mexican hot chocolate. The space is huge, so they are able to space tables out nicely...felt very safe dining indoors during COVID. Staff is very diligent when it comes to COVID precautions. They also have a great patio for those preferring to eat outdoors. Overall service and experience was impeccable. Will definitely be back soon!
Fantastic service, stellar food affordable draft list with 20oz pours at just 4$. Will certainly be coming back again!
