Interior setting charming. They had really nice-looking outdoor tables too, but they are very popular -- if you want one make a reservation specifically asking for an outdoor table.
Most of the food excellent -- onion soup, coconut shrimp, swordfish special. And big points for getting the swordfish right -- it is so hard not to over- or under-cook. Fish was fresh-tasting, nicely seasoned and juicy.
But my husband got the highly praised brisket special and it was horrible. Overcooked and incredibly tough with a massive slab of fat at the top. Only good thing we can say about it was that the portion was giant. But, my husband only wanted a tiny amount of it -- it was so tough.
This restaurant could be really good if they could get their act together! The menu is creative and inviting. The atmosphere on the deck is charming and romantic. But the servers and the kitchen can’t seem to keep up with a typical Friday evening crowd and what looked like a large private party.
Our dinner took two and half hours. The two of us did have appetizers, salads, entries and split a dessert so I’d expect maybe an hour and half at most. Our server disappeared for long periods of time; we actually had to track her down to close out our check.
We started with the pork tacos as an appetizer. They were a bit better than ok. I had the grilled romaine salad and it was a complete disappointment— no flavor at all. I understand we are talking about grilling lettuce so I’d expect the dressing to take center stage. That was not the case! The dressing was completely tasteless. The only part of this dish with any flavor were the pickled onions. My husband had the wedge and said it was tasty. For entries I had the Eggplant Parmigiana and my hubby had the Brisket special. I was pleasantly surprised how enjoyable my eggplant was. Hubby couldn’t say the same; his brisket was dry and very tough. It was supposed to come with fried green tomatoes; he was done with his meal when they arrived. We finished with the Carmel hazelnut cheesecake. Sounds darn tempting, doesn’t it! It wasn’t as good as the description. The cheesecake itself wasn’t much to talk about- again, pretty tasteless.
We overheard the manager explaining to another table they had a large private party that caused the kitchen to get overwhelmed. Suggestion: shut down the rest of the restaurant to properly support that party. The kitchen nor the wait staff could manage both. It was a disappointing dinner that took way too long. We probably won’t be back.

Pasta wasn’t al dente in the pork Ragu - it wasn’t cooked! The chicken Milanese was dry and tough, covered in extremely salty arugula. Then we thought the desert had to redeem the entrées. We were wrong - we ordered the blueberry crêpe. Expecting a warm soft crêpe with blueberry filling and topping. Nope! Two extremely large burritos stuffed with ice cream with a few blueberries on top. - the ice cream was good ha ha
The service was great! Our waitress was a delight.
We had been there many times before and had good experiences. This time was not same.

We had a good time, good meal and great service. Everyone made an outstanding effort for o answer a few questions about the menu and wine and overall it was very enjoyable.
The food and service were excellent!! It was our first time there and we absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go again!
We were seated and it took 13 minutes for someone to come over to ask us what we wanted to drink. They brought out bread with butter about 15 minutes later but we didn't have any napkins or silverware until we asked for them when the app came out.
Wife ordered a steak medium. Came out raw. Not rare, but raw. Literally had cold spots in it. Came with tiny portions of mashed potato and creamed spinach. Waitress said she could substitute the spinach which I found a bit strange.
For the price of everything, this was 100% not worth and we will never go back. We have two small children and its difficult for us to get out of the house by ourselves and this really ruined a rare night out for us. Don't come here.
Second visit and enjoyed my meal. My wife has had a steak dish twice and not so thrilled.
Good food and service. There was a wine mixup but all turned out fine. Good atmosphere, not too noisy. Would def recommend.

Brittany, our server, was kind and attentive. Food was outstanding - the best I’ve had in the area. Ambience in the main dining room was great - we were initially seated in the overflow room but the hostess kindly accommodated our request to move to the main dining room. Highly recommended for a lovely dining experience.
Menu was small. Food was just ok. I am sure they will get better over time.

Good food but pricey
We enjoyed our valentines dinner this year. My wife got the salmon en croute. And I got the filet mignon.
I really like this place. Been here a few times prior and enjoyed every meal I ever had. Unfortunately, this one was different. My family attended for my birthday and grabbed a 4 pm spot. The service was good, which I have come to expect. The food however, somewhat disappointing. I had the prime rib which was done as asked - mostly. The meat was cold in spots. Not just cool but cold. The creamed spinach was not really creamed. It was steamed but barely had any cream. The potatoes were decent but nothing extraordinary. My spouse had the eggplant parm. It was pretty basic and the sauce not overly flavorful. The kids had grilled cheese, fries and I also grabbed a shrimp app for my daughter. $120 later, we walked away disheartened. I won’t say that I would never come back. I will say that I will think twice about where I can spend $120 on 4 meals or even $60 for the same quality.

It was the perfect setting for a romantic Valentine's day dinner. The staff were remarkably attentive, we weren't rushed through dinner, the drinks were excellent, and the food was delicious...
