The 4 plates per person was dear for £20. I would suggest splitting it between two people. As such, 8 x plates for two people for £20. £10 each.
Me and a friend could not finish it all and this would be wasted for customer and chef.
Otherwise could not fault it
Went for the “I can’t decide” option as it was my first time there. Best food decision I’ve ever made! The food, the vibe of the place- unbelievable!

Food was great as usual. Only minor complaint was that I specified it was my birthday when I booked, and when I arrived nothing was mentioned. Not a problem in itself but I overheard the table next to us mention a birthday and they were given free drinks. Would have been nice if this was also offered to me.
Friendly welcome from the staff when we walked through the door. A busy Saturday night but everyone was in control. We asked the waiter to choose a selection of dishes for us. The pumpkin curry was our favourite closely followed by the hopper.
A really fun and fab evening. The team were really kind so together with the unusual dishes, a truly memorable evening. Thank you to all at TCT for making it so
Coconut tree is a great restaurant and we love the relaxed feel. It was a busy Saturday night, so expect some noise, but not imposing.
I had read about The Coconut Tree so wanted to visit as I was going to be in Cheltenham and I like to try something a bit different. A little walk from the city centre but very easy to find. The service was attentive, the food and drinks were served quickly. The food was very down to earth and full of spiciness. I wasn't keen on the 'Hopper' but that was personal choice. The goat curry and the chicken on the bone curry were both excellent.
This was our third visit so you must be doing something right! Again, the food was interesting and tasty. We tried a few new things but for the life of me I can't remember what they were called! Again, the staff were friendly and efficient. One small quibble, there was a bit too much Rap played for my taste. Why do people like that stuff? It's horrible! But anyway, the Coconut Tree is a great restaurant!
Absolutely, it is a lively place with great food and attentive staff.
If you want to eat some ware different then this is the place. Food was good but if it is the first time then you do need a bit more advise on what to order.
What we ordered was fine but there are dips and other things that you can order which we were not told about.
Will be going again to dry something different.
Ps the wife loved it because of all the Gluten free food.
Brilliant night, food was delicious and extremely good value for money. The staff were all extefriendkt and even managed to extend our table when friends turned up! Cannot wait to go again.....

Unusual and no frills cafe restaurant with lovely fresh food of an unusual type. Some of the dishes were a bit 'samey' and it is difficult to judge how many dishes you need as they vary in size. Friendly welcome and good service.

Amazing food, so much variety and it all tastes amazing.! Friendly and very helpful staff.. . Great atmosphere... very cool place. I've eaten here 5 times and every time I spend the next day thinking about what I ate and wanting it again. ! A very good sign in my opinion.
In all honesty one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Cheltenham. The flavours and dishes were perfect and complimented each other.

We had an another excellent meal here, although I did miss some of the items from the previous menu such as the mutton rolls and pineapple curry. Service was friendly and efficient and we were made to feel most welcome.

Unfortunately the open table website timings do not match restaurant timings so we arrived to be told kitchen had closed
They were very accommodating and served us but not whole menu
We had the buffet, it was lovely. Very tasty and nice to have a good variety of dishes
