On arrival, we were told the main restaurant was booked for a private dinner for 45 people and we were put in a dark corner of a side room. Starters arrived missing a meal. Background music became deafening. At the time we complained about the table,the missing starter and the noise Not one word of apology from the staff. Despite paying nearly £50 per head we felt like unwanted second class customers Once a favourite restaurant, not anymore.

Absolutely fantastic experience at The Coast! The food was exceptional – fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a standout, from the starters to the desserts. The service was equally impressive: friendly, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. It’s clear the staff take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a welcoming setting, I’d highly recommend The Coast. A real gem!

Really enjoyed the visit. Staff were very good Food was excellent Would have been nice to maybe have sml complementary bread to table while we enjoyed superb cocktails.

Really enjoyed our meal here . The pasta was fresh and full of flavour, especially the arrabiata pasta with olives . The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was relaxed and cosy. We ended with a delicious tiramisu. Definitely a place we’ll come back to.
