   A truly incredible dining experience. They went above and beyond. Food was creative and surprising, staff was friendly and knowledgeable, atmosphere was relaxed and fun.

   Ambience, cuisine terrific. Last night a combination of Indo/SE Asia, Zabhar and Stephen Gillanders creations that were visually and palate wise fabulous. Stand outs were the modest appearing fresh oyster that stunned with chef's add ons , 3+ star Maine Lobster skewered, with red smoked pimento sauce and golden lemon dollops. This alone worth a journey. I was told this will be showing up on the Valhalla menu Wine pairings we thought were in bouquet/palate complexity reticent to balance or compliment the courses. Macon blanc came closest, while a Sicily aperitif offered multitudes of combating spices that did not well enough honor the menu gone before.

   Every dish was incredibly prepared, and chef Zubair was generous with his time and explained the inspiration behind every ingredient. A special meal with 0 misses, truly a gourmand experience from the first bite to the last

   We did the 7 course table menu with one wine/cocktail pairing. Food Loved every single course! The Gucci Musallam Faraa is one of the best dishes I've had in the last few years. The spice and heat level was perfect, the morels were earthy and amazing, and the rice gnocchi/dumplings rounded it out. The black cod with Moilee Sabayon was another standout as again the spice/heat level was perfect and the cod was melt in your mouth good. The Duck Numidian was a perfect way to end as it was a fatty cumin/fenugreek/coriander bomb in all the right ways. The Halo Halo was a fantastic dessert as it hit all of the flavor notes of sweet and savory, creamy and fruity. All of the other dishes were great as well and it says something that the NY Strip, which was excellent, was my least favorite dish. Wine/Cocktail The wines/cocktails on their own would have deserved a 5/5, especially The Finale (scotch, noyaux, chamomile, seville orange, vanilla) and R.López de Heredia Gravonia, 2016. But they paired perfectly with each course, with the cocktail pairings being even better than the wines, granted the steak with the Vignerons Les Matheny Arbois Rouge Trousseau, 2021 was outstanding. This could be the best pairing I've ever had. Truly. Service Phenomenal as all of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, with special shout out to the sommelier and executive chef. Overall, I would say the tasting menu at this price point is one of the best in the city, and paired with the wine/cocktail just made it even better. I will be going here again, and again, and again.

   Seats at the counter provided a truly one of a kind experience, allowing a front row view to the creation of each course as well as open dialog with chef and his team. The service was top notch and the meal is not one I will forget anytime soon.

   The food was incredible. Every dish was different and surprising. My spouse is vegetarian and was blown away by the veggie options. The best baklava I’ve ever had. They change the menu every quarter so we’ll definitely be back!!

    The entire menu is well thought out from each dish to the drink pairing. The service is very attentive and the entire experience was very intimate which gave an unexpected community feel.
