   Nicely decorated, comfortable and friendly although a little chilly. Friendly chatty staff who are happy to help. Soup was lovely but black pudding starter was disappointing- deep fried and no sauce so a bit dry. Mains although tasty came with little veg and sauce. I had lamb and mash which came with two small pieces of carrot and a tiny bit of jus would rather have had less mash and more choice of veg and jus as it was dry same for the pork. Steak dish was nice and Thai chicken burger average. Not as good as last time we visited, need to look at the menu as some things expensive for what you get. However as I said nice pub with friendly atmosphere would go again and give menu another try

   New management has sparked new life into what was already a good pub/restaurant. The food has risen a notch and the service was good. Looking forward to going back.

   Lovely meal again. The staff are so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. A cosy place to eat on a cold winters night. Highly recommended.

   I have visited the Coach a few times recently and always enjoyed the experience. On this occasion the venue was extremely busy and very noisy. We asked to be moved to a quieter table. The food was good but the service was very slow.

   music was very good - right noise level Food was good and the whole bottle of presecco was pleasant surprise

   Very good customer service indeed. Very keen to serve you. And recommend what type of flavouring in the gin menu

   It was the second time we had dined here. First time would have scored a healthy 4 all round. This time we had 2 Sunday roast and Thai burger. 40 minute delay on food. Wasn’t advised why but apology from 2 staff just prior to arrival of food. Disappointing as Thai burger arrived was advised no slaw but no alternative offered. Their Sunday roast is lovely...chicken and beef. 2 cheese boards ordered ...decent portion of cheese served with 2 small pieces of celery and 3 frozen grapes... had to ask for chutney and no butter offered. The bill was brought in a nano second and the waitress waited as I counted the notes. This place could be amazing but for the money and the area other restaurants rate higher

   Our 2nd time under the new owners. Had a great evening. Service was excellent , changes to the menu are a great improvement and the guys are fabulous hosts. Will definitely be back for more espresso martinis and old fashioned’s!! Thanks for a great time.

   Friendly atmosphere - the owners are so welcoming and make sure you’re well looked after. Definitely be going back!

    Had a fabulous meal at The Coach. Dan welcomed us as soon as we walked in and took to our table. The menu is varied and meant we took ages to choose! Food excellent, service excellent it’s a huge improvement under Dan and Marc.
