Booked for a dinner with my wife. Starter and drinks were good but then waited an hour an a half between starter and main before giving up and leaving-manager admitted unable to serve the bookings they’d taken. Other tables did the same as us. Appalling! Don’t waste your time.

We came to your restaurant for a date night . The starters were missing 3 ingredients . We tried to get the attention of two of the staff but we're ignored. When we did finally get someone the food was taken back and yet again only 1 of the missing ingredients came on the plate. My date had a black pudding fritter but it came breadcrumbs. Mains were good though but it had already put a dampner on the evening. Other diners were waiting over an hour for their food. I know with new ownership there are teething problems but you should always put your customers first and attend to their needs as it is them that are keeping your business open

My husband, myself & two friends enjoyed our first visit to The Coach on Saturday night. We received a warm welcome & found the atmosphere very friendly. Two of us had starters which were very tasty but we felt the portion size to be on the small side. The main meals were delicious, I & my friend had the Risotto, (one of the best that I've had). The men had steak & lamb which they both thoroughly enjoyed. We finished with the cheese board, nice selection but I thought a bit pricey. A bit of a downside for me was entertainment that night, not my kind of music but aside from that the volume was too high for a small room, it was difficult to hold any kind of conversation whilst the man was singing. Overall it was an enjoyable night & we all said that we would definitely visit The Coach again in the future for another meal.

Very limited menu, not good value for money, had to complain about the fish being poorly cooked and of low quality, (The manager did deduct this from bill), starter of 3 prawns not good value, pie ok but very salty, just got mash with it which had too much butter in it ( I love butter but this was too much), no other veg, won't be going again

Quite a drive from where I live but well worth it. The staff were pleasant but the first did not give us full details. Karen was the second and gave us more options about the meals. There was a wait of 30-40 minutes for our food. When it did come though it was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and not too loud. Comfortable seating and a good ambiance.
