The Clubhouse - Oak Brook
In addition to our lunch and dinner menus, we offer an impressive Buffet Brunch on Sundays, including Father's Day and other holidays.
Thank you for making my friends husband birthday so enjoyable. He has a great time.
The food was great!
The desert was okay.
The people a couple tables down was kind of loud.
Overall I enjoyed my experience there.
Great place. I would definitely go again. Ambiance was nice.
It was great!
It was PERFECT
The restaurant was freezing I ate
With my coat on and I seen other guests with their coats over their shoulders
I told the waitress who said she told the manager a couple times. My food was good but just luke warm. The waitress was nice and did a good job. Not sure if i would return
I had the blackened shrimp tacos and it was cold. I’m not sure if that’s how it’s suppose to be. I did have it once before and it was served warmer.
Lobster bisque soup phenomenal
Excellent drinks and dessert menu
We were initially upset because, even though we specified upstairs seating, and had a 4:30 reservation, we were told when we arrived that the upstairs didn't open until 5:00. They tried to seat us downstairs, but we balked (too noisy!). They finally did seat us upstairs and we were treated very well after that. Food was outstanding, especially my salmon. Enjoyed the evening after that tough start.
The chopped salad was good but it was big before ( for three people )
Food and service were very good.i had a lemon drop martini it was delicious! The breaded chicken breast had lots of flavor. Calamari is in my top 3 of near by restaurants. The table bread was not the best that could be upgraded.
Sad the meatloaf Sunday is no longer on the menu.
Great food and great atmosphere. Had a business luncheon and the volume was perfect.
Had a great time! Great ambience, service, noise level was great, and the food was terrific. The ONLY reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that because they close so darn early during the week!
We had a nice dinner, service left a little to be desired. Ozzie was our waiter he seemed to be in a hurry and barely was able to fulfill drink refill orders because he would rush away from the table.
The Clubhouse has a golf theme decor with many items associated with jack Nicholas. The food was okay but nothing to support the prices charged. In fact it looked like a packaged meal, since they looked exactly alike, as one could buy at a Mariano's and heated in an industrial convection oven. The restaurant is also lacking in bathroom facilities since there is only one stall for people on the first floor. Didn't go to the empty second floor which some people seem to use. They have a large unattractive tarp like curtain at the entrance to stop the cold air from rushing into the restaurant. It doesn't work since many patrons were wearing jackets and coats while they dined. There are too many good restaurants in the Oak Brook area to waste time and money at the Clubhouse.
I've been here prior to yesterday's visit. It was even better than I recalled. I brought my wife and mom to celebrate their birthdays. The food was magnificent and our server, Travis, was more than great. He attended to our every wish and desire. I plan on bringing a huge group back this coming April
Amazing experience. The food was AWESOME!
Overall, good experience!
Out standing place to go for a first date! We closed the place with no rush from the staff! I would do it again in a heart beat!
Food is good . Variety is excellent.
The menu needed some work. I'm a seafood guy and I like shrimp but not prepared with bourbon.
The waiter told me not to get the Jambalaya because it was too hot. Lobster bisque soup was great but not for $8 a cup, $10 for a bowl. I had a burger for $16.00--too much. Good burger though.
The service was outstanding !!! Great waitstaff.
Great atmosphere. Good service. A bit on the pricey side.
Anniversary and birthday
Prompt, though frequently invasive, service. Great food, well prepared and plated. The Clubhouse is one of my favorite places for meetings and dinner with friends.
Once again, we had a very enjoyable client lunch at the Clubhouse. Great food and service as always!
Food was great. Service was superb. Noise level was loud.
Excellent service with good food quality; a little loud but that might have just been some guests that day. Had a group of 10 and pace of meal excellent
Went for restaurant week. Food was average. Place could use a makeover. We sat in a corner and the paint looked chipped and something splashed on the wall. Fruit flies came to visit halfway through the meal.
Food was excellent. Our waiter, an obvious career, was awesome. Even though I dont drink the scotch list was very good.
Great evening! Folks were afraid of the weather so it was our group and one other. No rush, great food and service!
Food was good. We have ate here many times with good service but tonight was subpar at best. Won’t be back for a while.
Prime rib was very good, but the chocolate cheesecake dessert that came with the restaurant week dinner was so small and not really very good.
While usually very good the wait staff was extremely absent and forgot straws and people’s drinks. Hard to get attention even after screaming his name across the the restaurant.
Our waiter was great! Answered questions, attended to us, and let us linger - was very welcoming.
Restaurant Week Prix Fixe menu. Excellent entrees (salmon and filet mignon entrees), salad, and desserts. Elegant, quiet place. Highly recommend.
It was my first time at Club House for the brunch. Nice variety of meat and food was good. Loved the smoked turkey very well seasoned. I will surely be back maybe for lunch or dinner.
