The Clubhouse - Oak Brook
In addition to our lunch and dinner menus, we offer an impressive Buffet Brunch on Sundays, including Father's Day and other holidays.
Need to book at 9:15 AM?Other great restaurants with availability.
Elena was our server and the service was stellar! For the price of the meal, we expected a higher standard for taste that didn't really deliver.
it was a very nice place great service and food if you have any problems the will adress it right away and make it right for you i will be going back
Phenominal!! Really delicious food, very attentive staff.
Food was so so. Lobster bisque was barely warm, but tasty. Mashed potatoes were way too salty, my jambalaya was ok, but the shrimp were tiny and tasteless. Lazy preparation uses pasta instead of dirty rice. Waitress was worthless mostly. She would not respond when we asked her for something, and when she came back with it, she just left it on the table and kept walking, didn't even slow down. Dirty glasses and plates were never cleared. A busboy broke a salt shaker on the floor and it sat there the rest of the night. Granted we came in late, but it sat there for at least 25 minutes. I had to ask about the catch of the day and she said it's Opa, no description or anything and started to walk away again. I stopped her and asked her how is it prepared? Boiled, fried? What? Then she described it as if she was talking to someone who had never eaten fish before! It was hilarious! Food was pricey and only average. The waitress was why we would not come back. Service was less than what we get at Chilis or Fridays.
A family group of nine enjoyed a birthday celebration dinner at The Clubhouse. The restaurant is beautiful and our food was top-notch. The service was somewhat slow, however, and the noise level was extremely high, making conversation almost impossible. I probably would return, but only as a twosome, not a family group.
Good food, good service. The Family enjoyed the evening out for my wife’s birthday.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Definitely a top 10 in Illinois!
Great experience. Jd was an awesome server. Brunch was delicious.
As always the food and service was superb. One of the few upper mid price places that have upper price waitstaff. Bravo.
The food was okay the atmosphere was great and service was amazing. The food just wasn't as good as it should have been given the price. However the desserts were amazing, so while I will not come back for the food I would definitely come for the dessert.
MaryB, We always strive to exceed guest expectations. I hope you give us another chance to try our entree's
We had a slight issue with our table so we went back to the main desk and they corrected the problem right away!
Great to hear!
We came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The food, service and ambiance was perfect. We love coming here and will definitely be back.
Great Service with Michael
Food was good took long time due to kitchen burning my lobster tail Manager came by table to apologize. Should have comped something off my bill (would’ve been nice)
Valentine’s Day celebration - my steak (“the Steak”) was sinewy and unseasoned. Service was slow. Table was tiny and jammed up to adjacent tables. Felt like we were on a double date with the couple next to us. Family at table next to us had four kids who were well behaved, but being so close made our dinner less romantic. Our waitress never checked on how our food was, and didn’t ask if we wanted more wine. The space has no acoustic treatment which makes it hard to have a conversation. Will not be back.
Food was terrible. They have a very minimal menu, don't have their signature club anymore. The chicken plate was horrible, chicken breast coated with something disgusting and then fried. Gross all around... to top it off, the service was terrible. Never returning.
Had an awesome time catching up with my girlfriend... We were there from 12pm-5pm and never felt rushed..
It was very underwhelming.
The food was good! Flavors were good. But we weren't seated until 20 minutes at least after our reservation time.
Also I felt super rushed with our server... I understand that it was a busy night, but it was valentines day and it's supposed to be a nice and romantic night. That took away from our dinner a little bit. Otherwise, the food and the prices weren't bad!
I probably wouldn't come back...
It was very crowded.
Food took forever. Table next to us had sat an hour before us and were just getting their appetizers when we sat down - didn’t even get their bread. All food was cold. Drinks took forever. Ruined our Valentines Day. Will not be back.
Service keeps getting worse every time we try this place. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait. Even between courses or to get a drink etc.
Valentine’s Day disaster! Service was awful, drinks took 20-30 min to get, food took forever to get even though we didn’t order an appetizer then came out cold to Luke warm! The people next to us sat down after us and we’re done before us and they had appetizers! Took the desert to go since we were there for over 2 hours! We will never go back!
Over cooked prime rib, great service. Love the atmosphere
Thank you for your honest feedback
We love coming here. Food is amazing and the service is great!
Good service. Cocktails were good, too. Wonderful ambiance. We sat in "the bar" which did was well designed and comfortable. Food was very good. It's hard to find a good steak, but they did a nice job.
My husbands steak was too done, no taste. Dessert was delicious.
Pureromance, Thank you for your honest feedback. I definable will cover your comments with our Executive Chef
Service was very very slow. The waiter was not very knowledgeable about the menu. My lobster as well as my daughters were over cooked almost to the point of being rubbery and a bit hard. My daughters steak was perfection while mine was overcooked. We just ate our food because it took so long to get the meal and the waiter was never around. Other tables around us who came after us received their meal before we did.
Our vegetables were delicious as well as the rice pilaf. And my granddaughter had the mini burgers which came out fine.
Incredible service. Loved it. I will be coming back in the future.
We eat at Clubhouse usually 4 times a year. If this had been my first visit I would not be returning. My wife had her usual-the lobster dish that was as good as usual-but I ordered the Restaurant Week special. My salmon was so small and the asparagus was 3 partial slices of asparagus. It was a rip-off despite the special price. When I have had the salmon lunch before, I left full and with half my salmon in a doggy bag for that evening's dinner. Our waitress was very nice and I do not blame her. What was I to say-send this back because the portions are so much smaller than what we always get at lunch-and I am leaving still hungry.
Mich, We do apologize for the size perception on the salmon. I want to assure you and I did speak with the Executive Chef that the salmon is hand cut and each piece is weighed out. We only featured the Salmon on our Lunch Restaurant week. The lunch portion for the Salmon is 6oz and the dinner portion is larger at 8oz. If you would have ordered the items individually on our lunch menu it comes to $31 and we had the Restaurant Week special priced at $24. That comes out to a $8 saving or 26%.
Server was excellent. Barramundi was very good. A little too much garlic in the pesto, but overall very enjoyable. Lobster bisque was best I ever had. Special kudos to our server who struck the right balance between being attentive but not intrusive . I eat here often and am never disappointed.
Ray, Thank you for your feedback!
Clubhouse never disappoints when it’s comes to Sunday Brunch!
Went for the brunch buffet and it was very good!
Crab claws, oysters, salads, french toast, dessert buffet, carving station to name some highlights.
The waffles were amazing, brown sugar crust was a great touch.
Thank you AndrewK
For a large party over 12, there should be a private dining accommodation for the comfort of other customers and for the privacy of the larger party.
Service was really bad. I've never had such bad service there. I ordered coffee. It was almost 20 minutes and someone else came over and asked if I wanted to order a drink. I said I ordered coffee and he came back a few minutes later with coffee. The original wait person came over 5 minutes later with a carafe to fill the coffee she never brought me and seemed ticked off when she saw I was drinking coffee that someone else brought me. The service didn't get any better as the meal went on. When she brought our checks, we added our credit cards and waited for her to return. After more than 45 minutes, we finally flagged down someone else to see if we could pay.
the Sunday brunch we attened was terrific. All the food was fresh. service excellent. a very great experience.
Bartender awesome , service good . Only complaint my salmon was a little dry
KimO Thank you for your honest feedback
Simply stated: the best restaurant in the Chicago suburbs, if not Chicago period. Amazing food - the best steak you'll ever have. Amazing service too!
Thank you very much!
We had a very enjoyable evening on Saturday night.
We visited the Clubhouse for restaurant week and will be returning.
The food and service was very good. Our waiter Domenic was very helpful and attentive.
We cannot wait for our next visit to The Clubhouse.
Thank you! we will let Dominic know!
The Clubhouse offers a variety of entrees but it can be a very pricey menu if two are selecting
expensive dishes beginning at over $30. + drinks, appetizers, etc. The quality is definitely evident
in all the small aspects of the presentations. We both felt they should bring back the "meatloaf tree"
entree of the past which was a true delight and fantastic tasting too !
Chumlee, thank you for your feedback.
Had a great dinner during restaurant week. Awesome value for the special with no sacrifice in the food.
Thank you Melroseman
