$32 for the buffet lunch may be a bargain for Fatty Arbuckle, but not for oldsters like us! We should have asked the waiter how much it cost, so shame on us. We just assumed it would be reasonable for a Sunday Brunch.
Food is always good. Relaxing and beautiful view of golf course.
Sandra, our server, was very nice!! She took good care of us and recommended all the right things. Soup and gumbo are a must.
I will not go back, food was cold, seems to be from the day before.
Lovely setting to experience the calm of Audubon Park. Good service. Enjoyable experience.
Their website shows an a la Carte menu for brunch. The only offering was a buffet that was very pricey.
This continues to be one of the most picturesque spots in the city with some of the most disappointing food. All 3 of us ordered gumbo and ate only one spoonful. It was lukewarm and possibly made with cornstarch. I ate the shrimp but they were extremely salty. Hamburger looked unappetizing and the friend who ordered gulf fish took one bite and said it was no good.
SURELY, you can do better in this city that’s considered a culinary hotspot ?
My neighbors were also dining there ( party of 6) and were of the same opinion
Great food and service. Beautiful views. We enjoyed it very much.
The restaurant is a quiet retreat on the edge of Audubon Park. The service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. Great biscuits. Such a special place. Sitting on the veranda and looking at the park is not like any other restaurant in New Orleans. I love this place!
I had the best oyster artichoke soup I have ever had. All of the food was delicious. The waiter seated us on the porch as we had requested. He was very solicitous. The only problem was that after we had been there about 10 minutes someone started a motorized machine close by (we were on the part of the porch that wraps around to the side toward Magazine). It was very disruptive and lasted for quite a while. My guest has severe hearing loss so that was a bit of a problem. Otherwise the entire experience was wonderful.
Prendre un repas sur la vaste terrasse par beau temps est un véritable plaisir. Le menu est simple et les prix raisonnables. Nous avons flâné après notre repas, profitant des fauteuils très confortables qui accueillent les clients à l'entrée du club house.
Birthday luncheon celebration for our daughter on her 25th. Overall it was a great experience. The dessert selection was the only concern as it was lacking a bit in selection and variety.
This is my 2nd visit to the Clubhouse. I love the setting and the staff was kind enough to work at getting us the table on the balcony. Will return anytime I am in the area.
Birthday celebration for my daughter.
The staff was very friendly and efficient, had a good lunch food was very good.
Love everything and would recommend this for an enjoyable lunch as well as drinks and dinner
Amazing food and excellent service!! Will definitely return!
Menu selection was v nice. Our server Sandra was pleasant but not in tune with the kitchen or the kitchen was not on it! One petson’s main course came out at the same time the appetizers for 2 of us came out.
We should have sent it back but we were all talking and glad to be together
We asked for small plates to share the appetizers which took a while to come out, almost too late.
Desserts came out when the appetizer and main course plates were still on the table - some still eating. The table was a mess once she put the desserts on. She did come back to move some plates but it should have been done first.
2 of us ordered dessert, 1 did not. Most restaurants would bring a 3 rd plate and fork or at least ask, “will u be sharing?”
No coffee offered with dessert.
We asked for table on porch but were told there were none available yet a table got up shortly after we sat. Why wouldn’t the host suggest waiting or at least ask
Food was very nice w nice presentation, but half the experience is the service and ambiance !
Food! No value there. No carving station... ham, turkey or roast... not even baked chicken... except for eggs to order, foods were at room temperature food.. bread were stale. the "boudin" Benedict muffin or bread was hard... most foods were pieces of various meats in room temperature sauces... no seafood of any kind.... fried chicken tenders room temperature an stale... green salad out the bag... desserts were stale and we came at noon when it opened... been there in the past... the clubhouse has really going down... I won't be back... too many other great places in New Orleans for the money ($32)... special drinks... mimosa, bloody marys , etc were good $5 specials.
The Clubhouse is lovely. The food and service is mediocre.
Absolutely beautiful. The club house is great, the porches perfect. It was a nice, rainy day. Our wait person was terrific, patient, courteous
Overall, a good experience. A variety of food. And the server, Sandra (hopefully, I am remembering correctly), was awesome. She accommodated our every need and anticipated our wishes.
My first time here, very nice brunch selection and atmosphere was truly laid back southern charm. Will be back
Great place to have a nice lunch with a friend. There is not too much noise so that you can hold a conversation and hear each other speak.
Excellent service, Sandra went above and beyond to help us celebrate my moms birthday. The Sunday brunch deal cannot be beat, everything on the buffet was incredible!!
Local favorite. Best atmosphere. Lunch on the back veranda is the best, most relaxing and beautiful place to have lunch on a beautiful afternoon.
Brunch was very good and service was outstanding....there was a problem with the credit card machine but the server was diligent to work through it and was very apologetic. Only issue I had was the New Orleans styled eggs Benedict. The English muffin was so tough on the bottom, it was difficult to cut even with a steak knife. Everything else we sampled was outstanding, including the mimosas!
We enjoyed our lunch there. It was quiet, the food was good and so was the service. They allowed us to sit and visit after lunch without rushing us out!
Great food and service in an historic setting. Tasty veggie snd pescatarian options.
My daughter and I went Saturday noon. First timers. We sat on the porch and the view of the oaks and the golf course in the background was beautiful and the atmosphere very peaceful. Omelette and roast beef po boy excellent. CT the waiter was great. Ask for him if you go.
The people were very nice and the food was very good
We had the brunch buffet for Father’s Day. It was wonderful!
The atmosphere is great. The view is great. The food was a lot better than it use to be. It is a comfortable place to have a leisurely lunch and conversation with friends.
My family and I went to The Clubhouse at Audubon park after my sisters high school graduation. Eric was our server and he was very attentive, kind and knowledgeable. Everyone enjoyed the food, ambiance and service!
Carla was an amazing server❤️
The food was great and the bloody Mary’s were spot on!
Nothing finer than the view of our big oaks as we eat lunch and talk together on the veranda. Our waiter, Eric, was attentive and efficient and our food was fresh and tasty.
Lunch on the veranda overlooking the golf course and park under the stately oaks having a glass of champagne, cup of gumbeaux, shrimp remoulade and fried green tomatoes salad followed by pecan pie ala mode - LIFE IS GOOD! This hidden gem is open to the public in Audubon Park. Food was very good, well presented and at very reasonable pricing. Service was good, ambience was exceptional!
My first time there was on Good Friday. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked it for our Mother's Day luncheon. Beautiful, relaxing and good food, what more could anyone ask for!
A wonderful place for lunch to sit outside on a nice spring/fall day! Service very friendly!
