The seating is terrible. We paid $200.00 for two tickets and my seat had my back to the stage. There was no room to turn my chair to face the stage. My wife’s seat faced the stage but she had two drag queens with very high hairdos, that she had to strain to see the stage.
We were very disappointed Lea was not there, she had been there for the afternoon show but had a fill-in for the evening.
Rosie O’Donnell was amazing!!!! We loved her show. Unfortunately we will most likely not return to the Club due to the reasons stated above
Engagement. It was a wonderful time!
So great to have contact with the performers
They were so nice
Had a great time
When we arrived there was some confusion as to our table . We were there for dinner and a show . We arrived and were seated at 6:15 , by Almost 7 pm no waiter or waitress had been to our table . I got up and asked the manager what was going on . He could not believe no one had been to our table , mind you I had paid for vip table . The drinks were. Comped as a courtesy. The food was fair , had Mainly a few appetizers .with the 2 tickets for show 125 each then dinner the bill was about 400 dollars . When I’m spending that for an hour show I expect better service and don’t mind paying for my own drinks rather then wait 45 minutes . Seemed to be very disorganized .
It’s so great to have a jazz club in town! And to have Lea Delaria as part of it makes it even better. We went opening weekend. It was packed. Definitely need a reservation and be sure to be on time. I worry that if we had been any later, our seats would not have been desirable. We bought general admission, not high top. The show itself and the jazz band were awesome! The drinks were good. The food was overpriced for what came out. We had chicken wings that were fine. We thought about ordering more but as we saw other entrees being delivered and we decided to eat elsewhere after the show.
I hope at some point they have bands come in to play and you can go and listen without having to buy tickets. I love jazz music and would go every night. Definitely check it out. I hope they do well!
Such fun. Great music and drinks. So glad we were there.
Great atmosphere, really enjoyed the ambiance and the jazz band who were performing - such a refreshing change for PTown
We were a party of 4 and excited to share and support the new owner on opening night= Sadly we learned that this is yet another club to visit for entertainment and drinks only. The food was dreadful and the excuses for the fact that more than half of the items on the menu were unavailable were quite lame. Lea D and her great 3 piece jaz band did come through and keep us listening and laughing during the hour long set- A few moments were a bit unsettling as she berated her staff for first leaving a ginger ale on the stage and then for the bar servers making too much noise- It was awkward to try to figure out if this was part of her shtick or if she was truly pissed. We will be back for drinks and the jazz trio but eating elsewhere first.
The Club is outstanding! Unique for Ptown. Frank Was so excited to part of opening night. Christopher is a warm and welcoming host, and Lea Delaria is amazingly talented and a unique performer. The dining room is gorgeous, and the deck a perfect waterfront chill spot. Looking forward to many memorable times there. Please fix the reservation issue so I can book again!
This is a great new venue for PTown. Wishing Lea the bet of luck
They should not have opened. About 20% of options on menu were available. And what we ordered was below average in quality. The VIP seating was a joke. Our table and elbows touched the next. It was not a jazz club as much as a comic relief for the owner The band was talented- only plus.
Opening night at The Club - what could be better? Great space - wonderful view from the deck - good food and caring service. This is a great venue for jazz and comedy. You'll regret not spending time at The Club.
This club is in its early days, so it is hard to give it a fair review. However, on opening night we found it very expensive (cover charge $50 - $65 per person). The food was expensive, well prepared, and very small portions. They did not have about half their menu on offer, but that is not surprising on an opening night. The wait for drinks was very long, but there was a good selection of reasonably priced wines by the glass and the pour was ample. Lea DeLaria was entertaining with a top notch jazz trio from NYC and we enjoyed that. Not sure what entertainment will be on offer other nights. Lea’s set was about an hour and then the trio played for the rest of the evening.
