The Clover Club
overall was a great experience. would suggest booking bands that are not top 40/pop cover bands but instead a more ambiance driven jazz band during dinner time. loved the interior vibe, the bar atmosphere and the creative cocktails.
Great food great service great music. We loved it.
Our favorite place EVER! Excellent service, food is splendid, music is always amazing! Please reopen! We want date night back!!
Food was overall under seasoned and menu uninspired. Cocktail menu is extensive and drinks are well made. With the right band, this is a great after dinner spot. However, we were sorely disappointed with the food quality.
Awesome place to relax, good food! I highly recommend everyone to visit!
The restaurant is very pretty. Food was mediocre. We could not have a conversation because the band was extremely loud and we were seated as far back as we could. Asked for an after dinner drink & they do not even have brandy snifters. Will never go back.
Ambiance felt like we were back in a Chicago jazz joint. Food, service and music were excellent. We'll be back.
Always a wonderful time with fabulous service and incredible food! Love the live music!
Epic Unplugged performance was amazing!
Wow. Came for Valentine’s Day weekend and this place did not disappoint. My husband was beyond impressed and loved everything about this restaurant! From the live jazz to the food to the amazing cocktails/wine! Def try the smoked cherry old fashioned!
Excellent vibe, food and music. The staff and service were exemplary. Will be back soon.
Great everthing but wish the music was more standards and rat pack as advertised.
Great layout and bands were great. Good dinner club field and rooftop bar is a plus. This place needs a good chef with a more interesting menu. The food and menu are ok but nothing really that grabs your taste buds. Great date night spot. Drinks were good
Great place for a date night and awesome music. Can't wait to go back and try out the roof top bar when it is warmer out.
This was such a fun evening!! The food was great, service superb and the band was perfect. We were not rushed at all and were able to enjoy our dinner & dancing.
The roof top bar was very pleasant.
Overall it fell flat on our expectations. The food was bland, music was very loud while dining, but the bands were good. The bartender struggled with my drink order. My suggestion would be to not crank up the music until after 9pm so patrons could enjoy their dinner. Train your bartenders or at least buy them a drink book. Finally if you are going to charge upscale prices, insure the food is upscale.
Excellent food and service. The music was great, but so loud that we had trouble having any conversation with our guests.
I was disappointed. I thought this was supposed to be like a 40s supper club. I expected the entertainment to be more of the Frank Sinatra venue. This I got from the website. The band was no great. They did some songs that seemed to include some rap. Then they would go to a country number. Then something entirely different. Nothing like what I expected. The food was ok. I have had better. Service was very good.
I would recommend only for cocktails but not dinner. Food was not good at all but ambience and rooftop bar were great.
I had guests in town and the service was really bad. We shared this with our wait staff, but a frustrated evening, when we should have been celebrating.
Food was cold.
Vegetarian option (curried cauliflower) was an awful value and lacked flavor
Band was too loud
Too much smoke on stage ... leading to my cashmere coat smelling like smoke as well as causing fire alarm to go off and we ended up having to leave upstairs patio (after dinner service) and our drinks due to the noisy disruption.
Wait Staff was friendly and accommodating
While I appreciate what they're trying to accomplish, it missed the mark for us. The club is very cool, the interior has the perfect jazz club ambiance. We were part of an earlier seating, so our entertainment was equivalent to an opening band. They were okay, kind of stuffy, not much creativity in their selections. The food was good, nothing exceptional, few offerings. Beverage and Wine list was good. Our waitress was not good. She didn't know the menu, walked away twice before we were finished ordering, never filled our wine glasses (we ordered a bottle), and she never checked back in. When we were ready to go, couldn't find her, so we put our card on the table, took a solid 10 minutes before someone else picked it up and brought us the tab, which they ran through before giving us the opportunity to even look at the tab. Probably will never be back. If we do it will be for the rooftop or the bar. IMO, there are better places for food and jazz.
Great food; great service; great entertainment. Will be back.
Very good experience
The Clover Club is exactly what a supper club should be - octane fun with good food, service and a band!!
Food was great! The live band, Inversion, was amazing!!! Will definitely go back when they are there on Feb. 7. Beautiful place!!!
We had a great time at Clover Club. How nice to find a place where adults can get together. The music was great (we saw two groups) service was excellent and the food was surprisingly good. Honestly we expected mediocre food at an entertainment venue but it was great. The table was ours for the evening and service was great. Excellent drinks and a beautiful rooftop bar. We’ll be back.
Loved the music, the food and the service. Our first visit and we will return! Our server Brie was wonderful.
My husband brought me here for my birthday. It was both our first time visiting and I must say the experience was amazing from the ambience to the customer service. And the rooftop was breathtaking. Great to see a nice classy Jazz Club back in Dallas!
Great ambiance food was good I just excepted more fine dinning but I think they are going for a lighter menu.
Great venue for live music. Food was very very good. We heard The Millenial Swing. They were so talented! We will return!
Fantastic Atmosphere/Food and Live Music..... throwback feel Lounge.... Highly Recommend!!
Fun and somewhat nostalgic venue that many in the audience did not appreciate. The cocktails were excellent, the food good and plentiful, service efficient and the first set of the band fun and engaging. The band’s second set seemed to pander to the slice of the audience that didn’t appreciate the setting — the music becoming more a 70’s frat party than hip 50’s/60s. We checked out the rooftop bar as we left, and the views were great. We’ll come back for that when it’s warmer.
So fun! Hunter Sullivan was great! Food was great!
Truly a one-of-a-kind dining and entertainment experience in Dallas; reminiscent of what one might expect in Vegas during the days of the infamous Rat Pack. "Lucky" Campbell and his staff hit this one out of the park!
Amazing food, service and entertainment. Best date night the wife and I have had in a really long time. If you get a chance to see Michael Hix & the Classics don't pass it up. They were incredible.
Clover Club is a noisy, fun experience. The live music is fun and all the seats are good. The food is fantastic. The service is top notch. From the moment we stepped into Clover Club, until we left, it was a first class experience.
The ambiance was absolutely incredible. Definitely feels special and there’s a palpable sense of excitement and magic in the air. Gogo (?) and his band were fantastic and played a great variety of songs to appeal across various age groups. We went this past Wednesday expecting to have the $35 five course dinner, but apparently, they stopped offering this a couple of weeks ago, which was disappointing but not a big deal. Though we were sitting towards the front, we didn’t find the noise level or music to be too high. Also, the crowd was so much fun and people were dressed nicely and ready to dance and enjoy the night.
That said, the food is definitely just OK—not great quality at all . The mushrooms were cold and bland and the steak wasn’t very tasty, and again, very clear that the quality of the food isn’t great. Also, the flavors aren’t there at all. As a person who’s lived in California and NYC, I’m used to very tasty and high quality food. The service also wasn’t too great (not very attentive and pretty slow). The ambiance is definitely what you are paying for. I will be back for drinks and dancing with friends! Would be a fantastic establishment if the food were better. I hope they can improve this aspect of the experience.
Wow! What a fantastic evening at the Clover Club! Warm and genuine hospitality from start to finish. A much needed addition to Dallas’ evening options for live music in a classy and fun environment! We are already planning our next trip back!
Food was okay but ambience and everything else was grwat
