   The resort is still locked into the ninety's. But a big re-no is starting in a couple of weeks. They ran out of martini glasses and served it in a sniffer?!? really!?

   We had a fabulous dinner, beginning with salad and shrimp cocktail, ending with wonderful, tender steaks. The service was very good, wait staff was attentive, but gave us space. The location provided incredible ocean views. Most every table would have a nice view, although we had reserved a window table which was perfect for our anniversary. Would highly recommend The Cliff House dining room.

   This is the second time we ate at the Cliff House and I was not impressed with the food either time. Our baked potatoes were hard and not fully cooked and my fish was just ok. The waitress was very good and the view was nice but the food needs to improve.

   Not just a bad nite. They need a new chef, mgr and staff. The staff and mgr attitudes were awful, didn't care when we expressed poor quality food and service. The mushroom risotto looked liked a lump of glue with no taste. Halibut was $32 which would have been ok IF it wasn't overcooked and dry. Clam chowder was mostly potatoes. Service was very slow and servers were confused about everything...huge disappointment for a resort restaurant with such a great view!

   Scampi was average and served with rice, would have preferred pasta. Salad was adequate. Nothing out of the ordinary.

   We have previously dined at the restaurant and were very pleased with every aspect of our experience. Not so this time. We opted to share a salad and the calamari for a starter. The salad was obviously pre-made and press dressed. It was soggy. The calamari was crispy but was over priced for the portion size. The rack of lamb was very tasteful but there was very little meat. I had a fish dish that was acceptable.

   I stayed at the resort for three nights for a girls spa weekend. We had a wonderful time at the amazing spa and hotel....however, the food at the restaurant is consistently the worst food you will ever have. Frozen fish, over cooked meats and old baked potatoes sort of heated up. Some of the worst food and service over ever had. The entire restaurant needs an overhaul, food and the way they're running their dining room. Only edible thing all weekend was the fabulous omelet station! He as a skilled line cook and made them perfect every time Nothing else all weekend was above terrible or poor

   We ate dinner outside one night and inside another night. Both meals were very good. The views are outstanding. The staff was very personable and attentive. Small plates instead of entrée were very tasty! Wife had full entrees, and she really enjoyed those also.

   Took my wife to the resort for her birthday. The facility is nice, but the food was a little less than what we hoped for. My wife had a decent dinner, but my lobster mac and cheese ($34) was just a huge bowl of mac. I kept stirring from the bottom hoping to find some cheese or better yet, some lobster but it never happened. I didnt make a big deal of it because we were having a good time and my wife was happy with her meal. I also had some other issues while we were there, but that will be a separate email to management.

    My wife and I had dinner here after we had checked in. The service was excellent! The food was awesome and the view of the Atlantic was breath taken. I definitely would recommend the cliff house for breakfast and dinner. P.s. You got to try the blueberry pie!
