We had a very enjoyable meal after a bit of a debacle of being turned away from two other restaurants due to kitchen closure. I booked The Classroom while driving there and called to ensure they could take us. The manager was extremely kind and when we arrived, our waitress was fantastic! We ordered a steak, fish dish and Caesar salad. All were truly delicious! I would highly recommend their restaurant! The manager visited our table a few times to ensure our satisfaction too which is always an added sign of great hospitality!

Sat next to toilets entrance to stairs. Very tight spot, when there were other more comfortable tables for 2. Served a non-alcohol cider by server, who didn't check if we wanted an alcohol drink. Waited almost 45 mins for food, just 2 food plates. No apologies for the delay and it was just 6:30pm. Bar patrons seemed to get quicker service.

Great food and service. Really liked the fact there is a small fish and chips option for dinner - great fish and chips. Very friendly and helpful service by staff.

Went on Friday evening with family. Service was great, but we had to wait a little bit to get our food.

The starters were not as described. The starters were just like warmed up microwaved food. It was dry and tasteless. We waited over an hour for the mains, when they arrived they tasted like a cheap burger, the bun was rock solid. We certainly was not impressed! We asked for some tap water it never arrived we had to ask again. The service was not the best either.

Fantastic service, really friendly. Great menu choice and value for money. Food excellent quality (had burger and hake and could not fault at all). Lovely atmosphere l, stayed for cocktails and nothing was a problem .

Usually have a lovely time at the classroom, don’t know what had happened yesterday but the atmosphere between staff and with us wasn’t great at all. Staff are usually lovely, but yesterday wasn’t great at all. Such s shame because the food was absolutely beautiful.
