   The waiting staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. I don’t like giving poor feedback but the food, however, was not so lovely. Shredded venison was what was served. A cut of venison cooked medium rare was what had been anticipated. Average food at London prices. So very sorry I could not be more positive.

   A fabulous Sunday lunch the staff were great the meal was out of this world, the roast beef was cooked to perfection

   Menu is short but even then it was difficult to chose as all the dishes were appealing. Food beautifully presented and delicious. Wide range of gins available and our wine was excellent. Staff were very attentive and friendly without being intrusive.

   Great to be back in The Clarence Social. A little rusty after being closed for so long due to the pandemic. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. It’s quieter upstairs. The vegetarian option of aubergine and lentil pithivier was original, tasty and well presented with its accompanying salsa. We will certainly go back.

    Food excellent the combination of flavours different and tasty, attentive waiters, the only thing stopping me giving a 5 star revue was the noise level. Early evening fine but the later it got the louder it got until it was difficult to hold a conversation without shouting. Our party was sat at the front of the mezzanine level overlooking the bar so got the full blast from the increasingly busy and raucous crowd.
