My favorite place to eat! We go for every special occasion. It’s 45 mins from our house but so with the drive! Never once have we been disappointed with our meal! Amazing every time!

The food was fine. However, for what is supposed to be a steakhouse, the cuts of meat were just so-so and very thin. One person in our party ordered their steak rare, and it was medium. The restaurant did offer to redo it, but we declined because we had already been there for close to two hours. For the amount of money they charge for their cuts, I would have expected that they were cooked to perfection. I probably would not go back because it just isn't a good value for what you get. It wasn't horrible by any means, it was just a very expensive mediocre meal.

Delicious meal. Our server was extremely friendly, patient, and made great suggestions! I would have given 5 stars if there was attention/care with arranging the silver and tableware on the table; rather than setting it down and walking away. (We needed an extra spoon for dessert).

Reservation stated we would be celebrating our anniversary, only the hostess mentioned something about it. Just disappointing that it was a special occasion and not any other comments. Waitress was very pleasant, but not in tune with who was sitting at her table(s).

This place was fantastic!!! Our steaks were cooked exactly as we wanted and the taste was phenomenal….probably one of the best Filet Mignon I’ve ever had!! Best baked potato as well. Everything about this restaurant was perfect. Prices are a little steep but that’s to be expected with an upscale restaurant. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Great venue. There was a large group next to our table, which was on a covered patio. The group was very noisy which made it difficult for us to communicate with each other. I suggest requesting a table in the main dining room, away from any groups.

Always our stop for a family dinner when visiting or passing through Wooster. Steaks are always fantastic. Our daughter had the pork chop and it was equally tasty. Sammy at the bar is always always friendly and good for a laugh or two.

Food was the best I've had in a long time! Prices are a little steep, but what isn't these days. Service was very nice, but lacking - had to wait on a water for quite a while; couple behind us never had anyone wait on them and had to get the host to assist; took forever for our food to come out; plan on a long night if you want to have dinner.

Been there been three times last two years. Twice for our anniversary. Great service, cheerful staff. Excellent appetizers and food selections. Intimately lit and amply staffed, City Square is a delight even before one samples the sumptuous menu. Try the seafood bisque replete with mounds of luscious lobster (served just-so in a darling little cup). And, for your main, might I suggest the exquisitely marbled Delmonico topped with a decadent béarnaise? Your tastebuds will rejoice. For a drink, the cucumber gimlet is a frothy, sweet/sour hit, ideal for the dog days of summer. These items are all fairly priced for the caliber of the cuisine, making this steakhouse one your humble reviewer is sure to regularly revisit.

Went to The City Square Steakhouse for dinner, with my wife for a date night, and we will definitely be going back again in the future! The food was amazing and our waitress did a fantastic job. When you go you need to save room for dessert because the butter cake is absolutely delicious!

A very nice place in north-central Ohio to celebrate a special occasion. Great atmosphere and good menu choices. Ask for a booth, it's much nicer than sitting center aisle at one of the tables.
