Went to The City Square Steakhouse for dinner, with my wife for a date night, and we will definitely be going back again in the future! The food was amazing and our waitress did a fantastic job. When you go you need to save room for dessert because the butter cake is absolutely delicious!

A very nice place in north-central Ohio to celebrate a special occasion. Great atmosphere and good menu choices. Ask for a booth, it's much nicer than sitting center aisle at one of the tables.

Went there for are first dinner as a married couple. My wife and absolutely loved this place . The service made us feel really special and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back for many more fabulous meals and years to come. 10/10

Expensive menu unfortunately cost did not add up to quality of food .waitstaff was on point with service . Hostess seemed bothered to sit me at my reserved table her attention was elsewhere. Upon my arrival she didn’t greet me but told me she would be with me shortly. A waiter asked if I’d been helped my response was no he referred me back to hostess who replied she was busy at the moment. Odd behavior for a hostess to say the least wasn’t as there were other customers.this was my first and last time at this establishment.

A group of four of us all ordered the salmon salad and it was very good. Salmon was cooked exactly as we each requested and the salad and dressing was fresh and tasty. City Square is always a good place to have a very nice meal!

One of the best steaks I've ever had in my life! I had the Delmonico and it tore apart with my knife it was so tender! Our server, Bree, was just wonderful. We celebrated our anniversary and every time a server would walk by our table we were wished happy anniversary. Just a wonderful experience. Don't go on a budget though. It was pricey but in my opinion, well worth it.

My husband and I had dinner in this restaurant twice within the span of a fortnight. Each time we ordered the same dinner, steak, baked potato and salad, with the exception that the second night I ordered the pepper sauce as well. The steaks were well prepared each time, but the pepper sauce was too salty and not “peppery”enough — disappointing. The second night the salad was half the size of the first night and the lettuce was partially wilted. That may have been a one time occurrence (did they run out of lettuce?) The restaurant is well located if you are staying in downtown Wooster. The service is excellent and the atmosphere lively.

Every time we go to city Square steakhouse we have a great experience. Went to celebrate our future son-in-law‘s accomplishment becoming a CPA steaks were spot on salads were delicious and the shrimp scampi was a hit! Not to mention the fabulous desserts and the drinks. Anna, our server was on point and did a fabulous job.

Excellent steaks. The lamb chops also were prepared perfectly. Those in our foursome that preferred seafood liked the shrimp scampi very much. Some very nice wine list choices in a mid-price range. The butter cake is a delicious desert but definitely big enough to share. Service was excellent.

We were there for a business meal with out of town customers. The Delmonico (ordered med-rare) was well done and over salted. The petit filets are PETIT. Service was slow and it was a Wednesday. The people are very nice and the atmosphere is good. Service issues could have been an anomoly but for the food, a steakhouse should have really good steaks. I'm torn on reccommending it - I'll say yes, because of the atmosphere and maybe I'll try again to see if it was an off night.

We dined as a party of 6 on Sunday after a performance of the Ohio Light Opera nearby. The restaurant quickly filled with other theater goers. Drinks and salads came quickly, but the dinners took much longer. The kitchen may have been overwhelmed. Overall, though, a very good experience.
