   This was the best meal I’ve ever had! Came for a special occasion birthday dinner with my boyfriend. We were both blown away. Food, service, aesthetic all exceptional. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

   Had the Chef's Tasting menu and it was incredible. We are gluten free and they accommodated every step of the way. The cocktails were tasty and service was great. Definitely a NYC style restaurant in the serenity of Sussex County, NJ.

   Food was amazing and our server, Justin, was delightful. One person in our party was skeptical with the menu, but ended up loving every course. If anyone in your party has difficulty with stairs, be sure to ask for downstairs seating.

    We arrived at The Circle on the dot at 4:30 pm as per reservation. The place was busy but our table was ready and we were seated immediately. This is our second time at The Circle. We were pleased the first time and likewise the second time. The food and service are top notch, the ambiance perfect for quiet dining and enjoying the six courses tasting menu.     Main dishes took 2 hours to be served!! And one dish was terribly cooked. Server was super nice, manager was horrid. They think they’re way better than they actually are.

    The food quality was very good; however, the service was very, very slow. Seemed like there was only one waiter taking orders for all the tables and one bus boy delivering the orders. We had to ask for bread/focaccia twice before receiving it and we never received the Amuse Bouche which so many other diners who have reviewed this restaurant received. Maybe they stopped serving that part? Really not sure. The cocktails were very good and the appetizers as well. We waited for our main entree for 45 minutes or more before it was served to us...like I stated service was very slow. We couldn't stay for dessert because of the long ride we had to go home and the fact that our main entrees took so long to be served to us so I cannot review the desserts. Hope this place makes it. If they can just hire more help.

    Great food as always, but they now have a liquor license which is great However, they need to upgrade the wine list, those are not great wines and the prices are outrageous for that quality

    Interesting menu. Great flavors. On the expensive side so this would be an “occasion”place. Found the staff to be very nice but they hovered around a bit too much and kept walking through the not very crowded dining room. Found that to be annoying. Overall focus was on unique flavors and nice presentation.

    Every dish the four of us ordered was outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the octopus and the scallop dishes. The others in our party said they very much enjoyed their dishes. The Circle has got to be one of the best restaurants in NJ.

    We had the tasting menu which did not disappoint. The cod with green curry was one of our favorites. Cocktails are very imaginative and seasonal. We will be back to enjoy patio dining this summer.

    We had a wonderful dinner at the Circle. Wanted to do the tasting but everyone had to want to do that. We will go back another time to do the chefs tasting. Everyone tried different options on the menu and all were happy. Would definitely go back.

    If there were six stars, we probably would have selected that .  The Circle is truly a culinary experience. The great food, fusions, sauces, glazes , etc. were well worth it ! So many different flavors happening . We literally talked about the food the whole time because it was that good. Now, if you're looking for basic food, this is not the place to come; check out the menu first for picky eaters. The menu is very small and you know there is time taken in preparing these dishes . But if you truly want a great meal, this place is more than a treat - you're worth it!!  And yes it was maybe a bit more expensive but honestly it didn't break the bank and you are getting excellent food. Definitely better than some big city prices.  The service and host were excellent as well. I know some reviews had said the ambience was ok and sound levels were high, but we did not find that at all. I mean we definitely had other people talking, but did not feel like we heard conversations.  The ambience had a nice calming effect we thought.  So what are you waiting for?     First time we partook of their new full bar service. Glass of champagne overpriced and glass itself not notable. Entrees and topping on gnocchi were too salty which we did share w/ staff. With all the wonderful ingredients they use, salt should be the last thing added to excess. Otherwise remains our favorite upscale dining spot and we love the staff.

    The food is never short of amazing. Lots of love, time, and expertise go into each dish and thats very clear! Our server, Justin, was very knowledgeable and personable. The other staff are always friendly. Only complaint is I wish there was some sound-proofing or reduction as even though we visited on a weeknight and there wasn't a full house, it was still quite difficult to hear.     Unfortunately went to full bar and charged us 30$ corckage portion were smaller on the duck pork chop tough and overcooked not great quality sad as they’ve gone down hill with pricing not peoportiobate to portion of quality
