Extraordinary in all ways possible, didn't think I'd ever experience such dining in Sussex County.
Another great dinner! Highly recommend this restaurant!
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding and very attentive without being over bearing. We will definitely be back.
The food was very good but its incredibly overpriced. 2 appetizers, 1 pasta, 2 entrees plus two bottles of water was $220. Was worth $150 at most. Its incredibly expensive for this area but also just in general.
Terrific to have a restaurant serving this quality food in this corner of the map.
Excellent addition to the Sussex County NJ dining scene, progressive new American menu featuring local products. Food is definitely prepared by skilled chefs and it shows. Service was warm and impeccable.
Food awesome small portions service was great very attentive
Amazing all around. We had zero complaints and just so tasteful.
Just an outstanding and unique venue in this part of NJ
Wonderful gourmet cuisine. Somewhat pricey but well worth it.
Very talented chef and the team that tried very hard to put out the best dishes. They have succeeded overall - a few small edits could be made (e.g. the butter does not need chunky salt or pepper and the blueberry tart did not benefit from the green tea ice cream) but for most part, every dish was very successful and we will definitely be back soon.
Amazing food and service. We will definitely be back! The acoustics are a little rough upstairs. A rug or some wall tapestries would really help absorb sound. Other than that everything was wonderful. I hope this restaurant has a long future in our county!
Amazing food, awesome servers and ambience. Definitely will be a regular place for us for special occasions.
I had oysters (the best appetizer I’ve EVER had), the cavatelli, and we shared the ribeye. My friend had the burrata (outstanding) and the spring pea agnolotti (“it’s like if pasta was also a dessert.”) I cannot use enough exemplary language to state how amazing everything was.
There was unfortunately a very loud child near us for a bit of our meal and the family did not do much to appease him. A little disappointing but not the fault of the establishment.
The only negatives, if I can even call them that: our appetizers did not hit the table at the same time and the bus people/runners can use a bit of polish, but for just opening recently that’s absolutely not a reason not to go back.
I’m so thrilled to see a restaurant of this caliber opened and doing well in the area. It’s such a breath of fresh air.
Fantastic! Best dining in Sussex County!
Certainly a bright new star of a restaurant in the County and well worth a visit. Everything our party tried was described as at least excellent. Service is good (minor confusion over who ordered what) and it's BYOB. A tad pricy but so worth it, our party averaged $65 per person before tip and my only suggestion is improve the acoustics - sound bounces off those plaster walls.
Second visit as wonderful as the first! The service was attentive but not intrusive. The food was delicious with our server’s descriptions “spot on”. Lovely evening
Amazing food and service. Just keep in mind if you sit outside you're right on 94!
This place is so perfect. Great menu. Awesome staff. For sure get the flourless chocolate cake. They make their own espresso ice cream
Top notch food, very attentive service, excellent meal
Excellent food and service. Enjoyed our night out!
Great food, service and ambiance! Looking forward to going back again soon!
Amazing amazing amazing. This place is truly a gem. Food was absolutely fantastic and service was exceptional.
Enjoyed The Circle for my mom's birthday dinner. Love that it is BYOB as it keeps the bill down. The entrees both were spectacular. My mom cleared her entire plate of the duck and the scallops were melt-in-your-mouth good. We also nearly licked the plate of the flourless chocolate cake. Delicious!
New place and so excited to have more options! The food was excellent. I had the short rib and my wife had the scallops after we split the oysters and a pasta dish before for starters. It was all excellent! The service was great! Can't wait to go back!
Some of the best food we have had in a while. We will definitely be back!
Great place for a special occasion. A menu with locally sourced ingredients, where possible.
Absolutely Incredible! It is so wonderful to see a restaurant of this caliber in Sussex County. We had just about everything on the menu and I was still drooling when I left. The service was also incredibly gracious and well appointed. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I wish them well and I am excited to return over and over.
Who would think you would find two Jean-Georges alumni in the bucolic countryside? Had a great meal! Love supporting young talent returning home from the big city.
If you like a fine dining experience and are willing to pay a little bit bit more for your meal, then The Circle is for you. The chef is a Michelin star chef and his food bears evidence of that rating. I had the watercress salad as a starter which was just amazing and the scallops as my entrée and it was just so flavorful it made my mouth water. My husband had duck which was also extremely tasty. They start the meal off with an amuse Bouche which was a crispy little fingerling potato and it was just so amazing. At the moment it’s BYOB so bring your favorite libation and it’s a little chilly in there as well so if you tend to be on the cold side bring a sweater.
Had the 5 course dinner, faboulous!
Our second visit and the food was so spectacular again! What an important addition to the Sussex county area and we plan to make this a regular spot. The service is warm and attentive and the lovely rooms are simple but elegant. Now for the real reason to visit - the duck breast on the menu is absolutely my new favorite dish and my husband and I devoured it quickly. The menu is spare and seasonal and changing - we’ve loved the pastas, pea soup (omg), and of course that duck so interesting seasoned and accompanied by pomegranate sauce, farro, etc- the combination is sublime and exquisite! Our thanks to the creative chefs for blessing us with their talents- look forward to the patio!
The food was outstanding. Just the right attention to the table. We were upstairs and noise level was a bit loud, however everyone was so excited to be out to such a nice restaurant.
The food was amazing. I will be going back very soon.
High quality restaurant with superior chef’s in the kitchen. The duck was a top 5 entree. Wonderful
First and foremost, excellent food by top notch chef (s). The menu needs to expand. Service needs to gain experience and start thinking like a customer, instead of worrying about thinking like a restaurant owner, or worse yet, the State of NJ.
Have to offer a salad course. A regular foie gras course would really be terrific.
Again, want to stress that this is a very good restaurant that is just figuring things out. When they relax and improve the service, and expand the menu, it will go from good to great. The $114 ribeye is a step in the right direction, but this is not the correct steak. Need a prime porterhouse at that level.
The experience was excellent. The staff was very friendly and efficient. It is in an old home so is very charming. My only issue with the food was the scallops were a touch sandy although very fresh and it did not stop me from eating it. We each had three courses, was a touch too much for us. We would probably share next time. Overall very nice although pricey but everything is very special and you get what you pay for. Be adventurous. Also I was told that they change the menu every few weeks. I am a fish lover can’t wait till next time.
Probably the best gourmet cuisine you'll find in these parts. Pricey, and worth it. Best duck I ever had. Do remember to BYOB.
Had a wonderful dinner! Had the chef’s tasting menu which was expensive but worth every penny. Service was excellent. Will definitely go back!
It's an amazing place for a meal, they made our special event great!
