   A varied menu with a decent range of good quality food. Efficient and helpful table service in a nice pub dining atmosphere. Would recommend eating there and would visit again when in Ludlow.

   Fish dish was congealed, coagulated, cold in parts and seemed to be heated up by microwave. Roast beef meal tepid. No waiting on staff available to complain to, didn’t finish the meal. At the point of paying, the waitress who came to clear the table would have seen the dish, she was completely uninterested and only wanted to collect payment. Will not be returning, very unsatisfied customer but then again, I’m only a visiting tourist so they’ll have plenty more footfall through the door so no skin off their nose

   A birthday treat! Six of came to the Church Inn to celebrate my father’s birthday and it was perfect. The ages ranged from 8-87 and there was something delicious for everyone. Our waiters were charming and helpful, and the table we were given was ideal: a cosy nook with comfortable bench seating with good acoustics for my slightly deaf father. The food was great- the only possible complaint I could make is that the Sunday roast portions are massive, but our waitress kindly wrapped up the leftovers to take away. The final kindness was lighting the many candles I brought to put on my father’s pudding. Thanks all so much!

   Bit of a Sunday night feel about it but we were so grateful they were serving food as most places in Ludlow closed. Pub building is lovely, staff were friendly, food was fine, choice of wine by the glass good. All reasonably priced. Small error on the bill rectified immediately without fuss.

   We visit The Church Inn 3 or 4 times a year, sometimes staying in one of their lovely cute rooms. Time and time again the service, food, atmosphere, cleanliness and staff are all 10/10. The cheese soufflé was amazing! We will be back soon!

   Lovely hot, tasty roast dinner but had to pay extra for cauliflower cheese. Husband had whitebait followed by houlimi burger. Both courses for him were quite small. Drinks choice was good and reasonably priced but we felt the food was a little expensive. Waiting staff were very friendly and polite and service was good.

    Really good fish and chips with minty peas. My partner had the roast beef and cauliflower cheese, both excellent. They even did apple and rhubarb crumble for a dessert. What more could we want?! Great to be able to eat in Ludlow on a Sunday evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
