   Food we had was lovely and staff were great. The only thing that surprised me was lack of vegetarian options. Just 1 starter and 2 mains (both of which were curried - curry or pie). Menu said to ask for vegan options so we did thinking there would be more choices, but vegan options were the same dishes pointed out on menu - curry and pie - just the same. As I’m veggie I doubt I’d book here again until options for non meat eaters have been improved.

   Really enjoyed Mother’s Day Sunday lunch … I’ve never been to the church inn and had tried to book the Charlton arms which was fully booked. So had no expectations Very pleased to say the food was excellent - my mum is super fussy !! Service was prompt despite being Mother’s Day And it has a really nice vibe. Thank you 🙏🏻

   Plaice was off which reduced options for non-meat eaters. Vegetable curry was poor; tasteless and small in quantity with no need for both rice and nan bread.

   Myself and my husband decided at the last minute to book a table at The Church. We both chose the roast pork which was delicious. The staff are very efficient and friendly, in fact this is one of our favourite pubs

    Table was ready and waiting for when we arrived. We were greeted straight away, and informed of the menu and the set menu. Food was fabulous and reasonable priced, would go again.

    Perfectly cooked starters and fish and chips, the right side of crispy. Portions fairly small though - perhaps because we used set lunch menu - and only 3 small biscuits with the cheese !

    We were staying in Ludlow for the weekend and popped in for a drink, then ended up booking Sunday lunch for the next day. Food, service and atmosphere were all amazing. Would definitely recommend oh and it’s dog friendly as well.

    Lovely location right in middle off town. Very nice atmosphere. Lovely staff. Toilet nice decor and clean ! Real fire, nice decor. Food was lovely, fish looked a bit small in the plate but was very tasty.

    We went to the Church on a very busy evening. It was pleasant and the food was good but it a bit cramped and dogs are allowed in the dining room. I would give it a go on another evening but request a dog free area.

    Lovely meal early in evening on New Years Eve so very busy but great atmosphere. Staff were run off their feet but kept us informed of service at all times and were attentive. Food was lovely as usual and my husband said it was the best beef and ale pie he’d ever had!! We always eat here when in Ludlow.

    We went here for new years eve and it was fabulous. The service was amazing - very organised and efficient staff that couldn’t do enough for us. The food was outstanding. Small menu but what they do is really very good. I had beef and ale pie and it was the best pie I’ve had - other than my mothers!! Would definitely recommend this pub

    Our meal was excellent, but The Church Inn is not only about the food. The ales were in top condition, the customer service was professional and friendly, the venue was clean even the toilets were sparkling. Pleasure to visit.

    One of our all time eateries and watering holes. The Church Inn is brilliant all year round but at Christmas it really exudes all that’s great about Christmas dining in a fantastic atmosphere.     Good menu choices, excellent food and service. Cauliflower and chestnut soup was delicious as was the ravioli starter. Tasty steak, fish and chips was superb. Lovely light batter, not at all greasy. Chips crispy with fluffy potato inside.
