Well, the Church does it once again: extremely gracious service, a quiet outdoor table in the Beer Garden, excellent wine choices including a pale French Rose (perfect for this hot summer day) and 'way better than average food. A chicken Kiev! Excellent tomato caprese salad. There's a reason they end up on Open Table's top ten restaurants in Shropshire. Makes me really glad to live in Ludlow.

Really good roast lunch which was great value for money as well as being properly prepared and presented. Friendly and attentive staff. Happy to recommend.

Even though the place was full the service was fast, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, especially the whole baby plaice!!

Just such a pleasant place to eat and drink. Perfect location. Staff as always brilliant . Food menu varies and is not just the average pub food. For example last year they served up a perfectly cooked Ox tail. A great favourite of min. WOW

Lovely pub for a great Sunday roast lunch. The staff were super helpful and attentive. The meal was wonderful and the place is dog friendly. We had a great time.
