    After reading some rave reviews we decided to try this restaurant last night for dinner. Our reservations were for 6:45 and from the moment we walked in we knew it wasn’t the place for us. Music so loud you literally felt like you were in a club, very slow service and food wasn’t great especially considering their prices. My husband got oysters that weren’t completely shucked and had shell fragments in them. My mussels were over cooked. Maybe it was an off night for them, maybe they are trying to attract a different crowd, maybe we are just getting too old. Safe to say we won’t be back.

    Great dinner, excellent service, and excellent food. Mussels, fried oysters, calamari, and crab dip apps were very good and entrees of scallops, crab cakes, steak salad, and ribeye with crab were delicious. We had a party of 8 and drinks were always full.

    I couldn’t see our food because no lights. Gave us dirty utensils to use because it wasn’t any lighting. I had to use my phone for lights at the table.

    My food was terrible. The crab dip wasn't good & the melted cheese on top seemed more like melted rubber. The broth in the Maryland crab soup tasted burned. The Eastern Shore Cobb salad had "cured ham" that had an awful taste, and the fried oysters on top were COLD. Disgusting meal.

    The ambiance outside is great. Inside the music was way too loud, couldn’t even have a conversation. We sat outside and didn’t get a server for about 15 minutes. Ordered calamari and it came out within 5 minutes, piping hot but rubbery and slimy. Drinks came about 15 minutes after the calimari even though they were ordered at the same time. Server was also quite rude, but could have looked past that if the food was what it looked like on the website.

    Crab dip, crabcakes, cocktails, all excellent. This is a huge establishment and quite noisy. If you are looking for a festive environment with solid food, highly recommend.

    I’ll stay with the drinks because those were great. The chairs are not “big people” appropriate. Wide hips, thicker body builds. They are very uncomfortable. Appetizers came out cold. The portion sizes on the catch of the day are small, and not creative at all. It was quite boring. I don’t think we will be returning here. To each own. But I was not satisfied with the place.

    Went here on a date night while my wife and I were out here for a business trip. Such a wonderful restaurant. Great service, incredible service. From the moment we stepped in the host was incredibly friendly and complimented me on my tattoos, immediately checked if we needed anything. Our server gave us a great rundown of all the types of oysters and the flavor, sizing and taste they all fell under (which was extremely helpful) even the gentleman who stopped by to make sure we had water was incredibly friendly and we had a great conversation with him. The food was incredible and my hats off to the chef and cooks, they did such a wonderful job on our orders and paid great attention to detail and the requests we made. I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. You really set the bar with this one.

    The food is consistently delicious! We had a large party with a variety of appetizers and entrées and everything was prepared perfectly. We enjoyed being outside as inside can get a bit loud. This is a great place to enjoy good food and the nice ambience of Fells point.

    The musicians were way too loud and not very good. We could not hear ourselves talk. The fried shrimp was chewy and not very tasty. Others in our party had a better experience. Overall the experience wasn’t pleasant.

    Not my first visit. But my first visit this summer, and unfortunately disappointing. Management’s attention to detail in the outdoor area was not at the typical level. Peak business days/hours typically are staffed the best. Don’t go on hump day.

    OMG!! The Crab cake sandwich and chili puppies are wonderful and a must try in my opinion. The honey wings were good but ask for extra sauce! Definitely would go back.

    Went out for my husband's birthday, which I put in the reservations, but it was never recognized. The food was okay. Ordered tuna tartare which came out cooked. I had to shine light on it, thought I was eating chicken for a second. The eastern shore cobb, was not worth the cost. The shrimp on the platter were really good. Had to send back fries, seemed like they gave us the last of what was left. Ordered soup that we didn't receive, so server gave it to us to go. We've been dining at Atlas restaurants for years, some of which are on our list of favs. Choptank is at the bottom of that list. Have zero desire to return

    I ordered the Choptank breakfast situation. My potatoes and eggs were cold . Also its unfortunate they only offer pork bacon as many people have several dietary restrictions. Our waiter was not on top of the orders as well. I had to remind her i was still waiting for the new order of eggs again. The atmosphere was cute but not sure if i would go again or even recommend it.

    I bussed my own crab paper off the table, ordered fish and chips - the fish was not fully cooked and very salty, and paid $10 for an ear of corn as a side...The fish was comped off the check, but if your paying those prices, everything should be perfectly executed. We paid $200 for 12 XL crabs....

    Food was great. Server was attentive. There were flies inside the restaurant, which is annoying when you're trying to eat crabs. Live music starts up later in the night which makes conversation a bit difficult, but overall was a great Friday night.

    All of our food was delicious - we had crab cakes, rockfish, broccolini, and harvest greens. The host and waitress were both friendly and went out of their way to talk to us and explain what food was popular (this was our first time here). We had a great time and would go back again.

    It was freezing cold inside. We ordered the large crabs but they were not any bigger then the medium ones I’ve had at captain James. Also 2 of the 6 crabs were mushy and hollow.

    This food will not disappoint. This is the BEST inclusive meal we have had out since 2019. We had 4 different appetizers, and everyone at the table of 7 had a different meal and everyone raved about the meal. We had the crab, shrimp, the fried chicken, and salad to name a few - and so so good. Sides dishes were plentiful, delicious and perfect for sharing. Drinks were kept full and a cookie dessert to share was perfect. We will be back.

    Came here with a groups of 6 (we were able to make a reservation last minute, which was nice) and was very impressed. The food selection was great and everyone at our table enjoyed their food. The vibe was lively but not crazy loud and service was great. One thing I’d recommend is some overhead fans. It was a hot day and a light breeze would’ve been nice and it would’ve helped with some bugs flying around. The only real negative were the bathrooms, it felt like I was at a public park, not super clean. Overall though for food and ambiance and service I would highly recommend!

    Let’s start with the waiter, he just could not remember anything we asked for. Our bar drinks sat for a while, no straws after asking a few times. He was very unenthusiastic when it came to my table. So me and my wife ordered French toast and the fried chicken. The French toast was great but the chicken was not good because the batter that was supposed to be fried was still moist and pasted. I really was looking forward to eating here and so was my wife. We will try back again in a couple weeks. We’ll see!
