Atlas Restaurant Group celebrates historic Fells Point with The Choptank, a new fish and crab house located in the Broadway Market’s south shed. The Choptank honors the market’s 200-plus-year legacy with authentic local seafood and an energy and hustle true to the area.

Atlas Restaurant Group promotes a dining atmosphere and the suggested dress is business casual. We kindly ask our guests to abide by these suggestions to create an enjoyable environment for all guests.

The following items are prohibited however:

• Gentlemen’s tank tops or sleeveless shirts
• Hats are not permitted indoors for gentlemen
• No exposed undergarments
• Clothing with language or graphics that are vulgar or sexually explicit

Chef Calvin came out to greet us. His culinary skills were awesome. Food was delicious and prepared to perfection. The manager and waitress were both very attentive. It was my first time there and I plan to rerun. Great seafood!

Had a wonderful experience at Choptank- Baltimore. The seafood was super fresh and well seasoned. Don’t miss the old bay honey wings and crab dip either! So so good. I have to mention our OUTSTANDING server Tyler. He was on point making sure our food came out hot and fast and checked on us throughout the meal. He was super friendly and provided TOP TIER service. Excellent experience, amazing food, great drinks, we’ll definitely be back.

Xavier was our server and the service was excellent. Nicole stopped by several times with information about cocktails and also suggestions for entrees. Try the Cajun tuna tartare! Throughly enjoyable experience and would dine at Choptank again.

I loved the outdoor vibes . Everything was good but the crab legs were expensive for such small legs. The fried oysters were good and the crab cakes.

Usually a go to spot for my best friend & I - but, we were SUPER disappointed. Salads were 1/2 the size that they usually are. Appetizers came out WAY after main courses & were made incorrectly so we had to send back. Sides were missing & we had to remind staff to get them. Condiments at tables were empty. As expensive as this place is, good service is an expectation.

We went for our anniversary dinner with high expectations and we were let down by the poor service and limited menu. On a positive note, the food was really good. Unfortunately, the service was poor and the ambiance was just okay. We were sitting for at least 5 to 10 minutes until our server introduced herself. It took another 5 to 10 minutes to get a simple glass of water. My drink order was incorrect and the noise level in the restaurant was really high. I guess I was expecting more of a white tablecloth environment, especially for the price. Oh well, we did give it a try. Ken

The crabs and food were great. I am definitely going back. Our waitress Ashley was very attentive to our needs and did a very good job taking care of us.

This was my first visit to The Choptank, and overall, it was a great experience. I had a reservation and was seated within five minutes. The staff at the hostess stand were welcoming and professional. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive throughout the meal. The drinks were solid—especially the sangria, which I really enjoyed. The food was served at a good pace, and everything came out hot and fresh. If you're a fan of Brussels sprouts, don’t miss them—they were flavorful and generously portioned, perfect for sharing. The honey Old Bay wings were also delicious and packed with flavor. For my main course, I had the crab cake sandwich with fries. The fries were excellent, and the crab cake was a good size and had solid flavor, though it did have a bit more filler than I personally prefer. All in all, I had a great time and definitely plan to return.
